<![CDATA[AbstractFixed assets is the company’s owned enterprise intangible wealth is used for the operations of thecompany. Large totals of assets that would require good management to manage assets. Therefore,companies need of a system to manage the wealth of information in order to generate quick andaccurate who required by management. The purpose of this study is to analyze the asset managementsystem that is running on PT. Pacific Food Indonesia to determine what the needs of the system asrequired by the company. And then design and build a database application system according to theneeds of asset management companies using the Microsoft Access database. The system is able to helpsimplify and speed up the process needs information about the asset. The information required includesrecording, approval of the proposal, maintenance, disposal and depreciation. The development methodof this asset management information system using a system development method waterfall or weusually call SDLC. Generally, the approach used by the authors is the collection of data, analysis anddesign system based on the results of research that has been done. The end result of this research is anasset management information system based desktop that can simplify and accelerate the process ofasset management at PT. Pacific Food Indonesia. Jumlah aset yang besar tentunya membutuhkan manajemen yang baik dalammengelola aset. Oleh karena itu perusahaan membutuhkan adanya suatu sistem untuk mengelolakekayaan tersebut guna menghasilkan informasi yang cepat dan akurat yang dibutuhkan olehmanajemen. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah melakukan analisa terhadap sistem manajemen aset yangsedang berjalan di PT. Pacific Food Indonesia guna mengetahui kebutuhan sistem seperti apa yangdibutuhkan oleh perusahaan. Untuk selanjutnya merancang dan membangun suatu aplikasi basis datasistem manajemen aset sesuai dengan kebutuhan perusahaan dengan menggunakan database microsoftaccess . Sistem ini mampu membantu mempermudah dan mempercepat proses kebutuhan informasimengenai aset. Informasi yang dibutuhkan meliputi pencatatan, persetujuan proposal, pemeliharaan,pemusnahan dan penyusutan. Metode pengembangan sistem informasi manajemen asset inimenggunakan metode pengembangan sistem waterfall atau sering disebut dengan SDLC. Secara umumpendekatan yang dipakai penulis adalah pengumpulan data, analisa serta merancang sistem berdasarkanhasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan. Hasil akhir dari penelitian ini adalah suatu sistem informasimanajemen aset berbasis desktop yang bisa mempermudah dan mempercepat proses pengelolaan aset diPT. Pacific Food Indonesia.
