Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of domestic (i.e. exchange rate and BIRATE) and foreign factor (i.e. KLSE, SET and global financial crisis) on the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) in Indonesia. This research using secondary data in the form of quarterly from 2005: Q2 to 2016: Q2. This research using multiple regression analysis method. The result of this result show that KLSE and SET has positive and significant effect on JCI, and the exchange rate, BIRATE a significant has negative effect on JCI, while DKG has negative effect but not significant. Simultaneously there are influence betwen the exchange rate, BIRATE,KLSE, SET, and DKG of the JCI. Based on the results, the authors suggested that the government in this case Bank Indonesia to be careful in deciding the benchmark interest rate (BI Rate) and while maintaining exchange rate stability, so that JCI was able to show a positive trend.

Abstract

This  study  aims  to  look  at  the  factors  that  influence  the  preferences  of  the  people  of  Banda Aceh  in  using  the  Trans  Koetaradja  Bus.  The  data  used  are  primary  data  obtained  from distributing questionnaires electronically through Google forms, the number of respondents who filled Google Forms was 57 respondents. The results of the study show that the preferences of the people of Banda Aceh City are significantly influenced by the level of income, the higher th e level  of  opinion of a  person,  the  smaller  the  level  of use of  Trans Koetaradja  Buses, while  the travel  time  to  bus  stops  and  distance  does  not  significantly  influence  the  intensity  level  of  the use of Trans Koetaradja Bus in the city of Banda Aceh Keywords: Trans Koetardja, Income, Transportation

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of monetary policy on economic growth in Indonesia. This study uses secondary data in quarterly form from 2010q1 to 2016q3. To achieve the research objectives, data analysis used multiple linear regression. From the research results found that monetary policy is effective in improving economic growth of Indonesia. Where the exchange rate has a positive and significant effect, while inflation has a negative and significant effect on economic growth. This means the government must be able to maintain the stability of the exchange rate and keep the inflation rate so that economic growth can be in a positive trend.Keyword : Monetary Policy, Exchange Rate, Inflation, Economic Growth

Abstract

This study aims the relationship between the economic growth, Inflation and unemployment in Indonesia by using the time series data from 2007:q1-2016:q4. The study employ the recently developed using Autoregressive Distributed Lag (ARDL) model. Eviews version 9 were used for model estimation. Model estimation showed the significant and negative effect of inflation on economic growt in long term, which indicated that inflation decreased economic growth in the long term. In the short term   GDP lag 1 has positive and significant effect on economic growt, in other word inflation lag 1 and inflation lag 2 have negative and significant effect on economic growth. This issue revealed that authorities should diligently endeavor and plan tu reduce inflation and increasing all of economic sector to increasing GDP in short term and long term. The result of this study can be used by all respect authorities in Indonesia, especially economic and social institution. Keywords: Inflation, Economic Growth, GDP, Bound Test, Unemployment, ARDL Approach

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of fiscal decentralization and economic growth on human development on Sumatra. The data used are regional tax data that represent fiscal decentralization, economic growth and human development index. The data used in the form of panel data of each province from 2010 to 2016. To test its influence used panel data regression model, after the best model test is a fixed effect model. The results of this study indicate that fiscal decentralization in this case local taxes have a positive and significant influence on human development on Sumatra, while economic growth has a negative but not significant effect on human development on the island of Sumatera.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of the number of COVID-19 cases and the price of shares in ASEAN countries on the stock market in Indonesia. The ARDL model is used in research in order to see the long-term and short-term effects. The results of the analysis show that in the long term only the Malaysian stock market has a significant effect on the Indonesian stock market, besides that in the short term it is found that the Malaysian stock market, Singapore stock market and the number of Covid cases in Malaysia have a significant effect on the Indonesian stock market.
