Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research was conducted at Culik Perbekel Office, Karangasem district. Thisstudy aims to analyze work motivation strategies to improve employeeperformance. The number of samples specified was 5 employees that had beenagreed upon and listed in the organizational structure of the Culik WorkshopOffice. The data analysis technique used was data reduction, data presentation,and conclusion drawing. The result is that work motivation is very influential onimproving employee performance, this can be seen from the results of interviewsconducted with informants, it can be concluded that employees at the CulikWorkshop Office have achievement motivation, but interpersonal skills traininghas never been provided, therefore in completing tasks they are highly motivatedeven though they have never been hindered by their previous training ininterpersonal skills.Keywords: Work Motivation, Employee PerformanceABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilakukan pada Kantor Perbekel Culik, kabupaten Karangasem.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi motivasi kerja untukmeningkatkan kinerja pegawai. Jumlah sempel yang ditetapkan yaitu 5 pegawaiyang sudah di sepakati dan tercantum di struktur organisasi Kantor PerbekelCulik. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data,penarikan kesimpulan. Hasilnya bahwa motivasi kerja sangat berpengaruhterhadap peningkatan kinerja pegawai hal ini dapat dilihat dari hasil wawancarayang dilakukan terhadap narasumber dapat ditarik kesimpulan bahwa, pegawai diKantor Perbekel Culik memiliki motivasi berprestasi, akan tetapi pelatihaninterpersonal skill belum pernah diberikan, oleh karena itu dalam penyelesaiantugas mereka sangat termotivasi walaupun terhalang oleh belum pernahnyamereka mendapat pelatihan interpersonal skill.Kata kunci : Motivasi Kerja, Kinerja Pegawai
