Abstract

Society cannot function without rules that tell people how to communicate with one another, how to avoid hurting others, and how to get along in life in general. Children and teenagers have different understandings of rules. Likewise, teenagers have different views from their parents and vice versa. This indicates a development in the reasoning and morals of the individual. Moral development (moral development) includes the development of thoughts, feelings, and behavior according to the rules and habits regarding the things a person should do when interacting with others.

Abstract

A collection of facts that are bound by a certain law will become a generally accepted view which is then referred to as a theory. As a field of psychology and as a science, developmental psychology has theories that exist until now and can be used as a frame of reference to understand changes in human behavior according to changes in time or era. Like the psychoanalytic theory pioneered by Sigmund Freud as a starting point in the development of a theory based on the personality structure consisting of the id, ego and superego.
