Abstract

This study aims to find information and determine the management of learning in Children with Special Needs Tuna Grahita at SLB C YPPALB Magelang City. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach which is carried out by collecting instrument data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects of this study were teachers of grades IV and V. The results showed that: there were 80 students who were able to learn and 3 students with autism. This is evidenced by the acquisition of the learning implementation of mentally retarded children. Learning management strategies for mentally retarded children at SLB-C YPPALB Magelang City use various forms of methods including through direct learning activities, habituation, giving examples of exemplary attitudes by teachers. Factors supporting the implementation of education for Children with Special Needs are adequate facilities and infrastructure, understanding from teachers to students through learning activities that are quite good, as well as good support from the surrounding community and government. While the obstacle is the character possessed by each student.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika materi perkalian bilangan cacah menggunakan metode active learning berbantuan game interaktif kahoot pada peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri Bantul Timur. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) menggunakan model Kemmis dan Taggart yang meliputi perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan, dan refleksi. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas V SD Negeri Bantul Timur yang berjumlah 25 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan observasi. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan soal tes dan lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data kuantitatif dan analisis data kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode active learning berbantuan game interaktif kahoot meningkatkan hasil belajar matematika materi perkalian bilangan cacah di kelas V SD Negeri Bantul Timur. Hal ini dapat diketahui dari tahap pra-siklus presentase ketuntasan hasil belajarnya hanya 32% dan yang tidak tuntas sebesar 68%. Kemudian setelah diberikannya tindakan menggunakan metode active learning berbantuan game interaktif kahoot hasil belajar meningkat pada siklus I sebesar 60% dan yang tidak tuntas menurun menjadi 40%. Selanjutnya diberikan tindakan yang lebih baik di siklus II sehingga hasil belajar meningkat menjadi 92% dan yang tidak tuntas menurun menjadi 8% dari keseluruhan peserta didik.
