<![CDATA[ABSTRAK - Dalam suatu kegiatan penambangan, peralatan mekanis mutlak dibutuhkan guna menunjang kegiatan penambangan itu sendiri. Ketersediaan alat merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi produksi alat gali muat dan alat angkut. Penelitian ini melakukan perhitungan terhadap jumlah alat gali muat dan alat angkut dalam mencapai target produksi dengan memperhatikan ketersediaan alat dari tiap alat mekanis. Efisiensi kerja dari Electric Shovel P&H 2800 adalah 69% dan Hydraulic Shovel O&K RH 200 adalah 62%. Efisiensi kerja juga mempengaruhi produktivitas dari alat mekanis, dimana semakin besar efisiensi kerja maka semakin besar produktivitasnya. Produktivitas Electric Shovel P&H 2800 adalah 3.339 ton/jam, produktivitas Hydraulic Shovel O&K RH 200 adalah 3.103 ton/jam dan produktivitas Haul Truck Cat 793 adalah 125,3 ton/jam. Target produksi dari tambang terbuka Grasberg adalah 160.000 ton per hari. Dalam mencapai target produksi dibutuhkan 2 Electric Shovel P&H 2800, 2 Hydraulic Shovel O&K RH 200 dan 116 Haul Truck Cat 793 dengan produksi 221.363 ton per hari, dimana sudah mencapai target produksi yang ditetapkan oleh perusahaan.Kata kunci: waktu edar, produktivitas, efisiensi kerja, shovel, ketersediaan alat ABSTRACT - In mining activity, mechanical equipment is absolutely needed to support mining activities. Availability of mechanical equipment is one of the factors that affects the production of loading and hauling equipment. This study calculates the number of loading and hauling equipment in achieving production targets by considering the availability of equipment from each mechanical equipment. The job efficiency of Electric Shovel P&H 2800 is 69% and Hydraulic Shovel O&K RH 200 is 62%. Job efficiency also affects the productivity of mechanical equipment, where the greater the job efficiency, the greater the productivity.
