Abstract

This article explores the views and criticism Yûsuf al-Qaradâwî against Western views (secularism) about science. He provides awareness that religion and science have a relationship of mutual need. Religion needs science to explain the scientific facts that exist in nature. On the contrary, On the contrary, science requires religion in providing the moral basis for the application and usefulness of this science for human life and the environment. Happiness in the world is a prerequisite for achieving happiness in the hereafter, because religion is a source of knowledge and science is a means to apply everything contained in religious teachings. Both of these will reinforce each other and work together, so as to produce individuals who are devout in religion and progressive in developing science. Besides humans consists of two elements, physical and spiritual. Both of these elements has its own needs. Physical needs can be met by science, whereas the spiritual needs met by religion. If both of these needs are met, happiness in this world and in the hereafter will be achieved.

Abstract

The Ngidu Urasan tradition is an interaction carried out by the community in Surulangun Village, Rawas Ulu District, Muratara Regency who carries out the tradition of Ngidu Urasan as a practice to help people who are sick with the intermediary of Rambutan leaves which are read the verses of the Qur'an. Whereas previously there were many patterns of interaction with the Koran that were carried out by the Muslim community such as reading, memorizing, amulet, syifa` and so on. So to find out more about this tradition, in this article the researcher will use the Living Qur`an Study to dissect the theme so that the al-Qur'an text really lives in the Surulangun village community by using a qualitative approach and descriptive type of research. qualitative non-participants, namely by means of documentation and in-depth interviews with informants about the practice of the ngidu urasan tradition to collect data from the research location in order to describe and analyze a research result. And the focus of this research is centered on the people of Surulangun village who believe that the tradition of ngidu urasan is a medium of healing for diseases such as fever, high fever and spirits disorders (Tesapo).This research concludes that the tradition of ngidu urasan originates from previous ancestors and is based on the beliefs and beliefs of the people in the figures (pengidu) who practice ngidu urasan. Pengidu urasan has its own practice by using rambutan leaves that are recited from the holy verses of al-Qur`an such as al-Fatihah, An-Nass, al-Ikhlas, al-Falaq, Qursi verses, Sholawat Nabi, al-Zalzalah as a treatment medium for fever. , high heat and disturbance of spirits. So that angidu urasan becomes a study in the study of living qur`an, namely the al-Qur`an that lives in a society and functions as a healing medicine.

Abstract

Nowadays, various ideologies that are pro and contra to nationalism have begun to grow and develop. This nationalism cannot be separated from faith and religion. This is evidenced by the explanation of several verses of the al-Qur'an explicitly discussing nationalism. This study aims to describe the general representative of nationalism according to Ahmad Musthofa al-Maraghi. In this study, using a qualitative approach with the type of literature review, namely by using a thematic method that is descriptive analysis. In collecting data, this research will rely entirely on the interpretation of al-Maraghi by Ahmad Musthofa Al-Maraghi, as the primary source of books, research journals as secondary sources, which are relevant to this research. The results of this study indicate that the general representation of nationalism according to Ahmad musthafa al-Maraghi in (QS. Al-Anbiya; 92), (QS. Al-A'raf: 160), (QS. Al-Baqarah: 144) is a constructive nationalism. spirit of nationalism by upholding all kinds of regulations for the sake of advancing the nation. There are at least three equal principles so that nationalism does not conflict with the Koran and Islamic syaria. Namely nationalism in the form of unity, the grouping of humans based on descent by maintaining their integrity, as well as love for the homeland

Abstract

As the holy book for Moslems and also the big miracle (Mukjizat Kubro) for prophet Muhammad, al-Qur’an has been a part of life for Moslem society that has many functions and penetrate in any parts of their life. It’s not only as the source of the study of Islamic law, al-Qur’an has been also fulfilling the part of tradition, culture and religion routines through their cultures. Al-Qur’an has been also being the parts of Moslem’s social activity, not only for religious activity. Reciting al-Qur’an is not only as a dialy routine activity that they hope reward from God, but also as an activity that they hope can treat any diseases and solve any problems for personal life, family or relatives and also social society. Along the times flow and many problems of life, Moslem society always do some efforts to make al-Qur’an as a media to solve their problems of life that it may come from a massive group or community or personal, not only a guideline of law and worship. Among the efforts to make al-Qur’an as media of problem solving in Moslem life is Mokka’ Oghem by using Al-Anbiya’. Al-Anbiya’  is a book that consists of the stories of prophets and preceding Moslems that has been told in al-Qur’an and tafsir . The tradition of Mokka’ Oghem has been used by Moslem society of Sumenep as the way to make a decision or istikhara when they face any problems or difficult choises.Many people give positif respond to the result of istikhara oghem, it's known when they help each other when one of them have any problem so that they attend oghem. So, the tradition of oghem is still exis until now.

Abstract

Kitab Shahh Muslim merupakan salah satu kitab hadis yang dinilai para ulama dari banyak kalangan sebagai salah satu kitab yang memiliki otentisitas dan validitas tidak diragukan lagi. Akan tetapi dalam perjalanannya, ada sebagian ulama yang meragukan, bahkan menolak sebagian hadis yang ada di Shahh Muslim tersebut. Di antara hadis yang mendapat gugatan atau penolakan yaitu hadis yang dinarasikan oleh Anas ra.: bahwasannya ada seorang laki-laki bertanya kepada Rasulullah: Wahai Rasulullah, dimanakah )tempat( ayahku (yang telah meninggal sekarang berada( ?. Beliau menjawab : Di neraka. Ketika orang tersebut hendak beranjak, maka beliau memanggilnya lalu berkata : Sesungguhnya ayahku dan ayahmu di neraka. Ysuf al- Qaradlw merupakan salah seorang dari sederetan ulama yang ikut meragukan validitas hadis ini dalam kitabnya Kayf Natamal Maa al-Sunnah. Di dalam kitab ini, al-Qaradlw meragukan validitas hadis Shahh Muslim tersebut dengan pertanyaan, apa dosa yang telah diperbuat oleh Abdullah bin Abd al- Muthallib sehingga harus masuk neraka, sedangkan ia termasuk ahli fatrah, yaitu orang-orang yang selamat (dari siksa neraka)?. Dengan alasan tersebut, al-Qaradlw akhirnya lebih mengambil sikap tawaqquf. Ia tidak berani menerima hadis tersebut dan juga tidak berani menolaknya. Padahal hadis tersebut merupakan hadis sahih, baik sanad maupun matan-nya. Sedangkan ypaman Nabi. Penggunaan kata ayahku dalam hadis tersebut dengan makna paman merupakan ungkapan majaz. Makna majaz ini diambil setelah tidak mungkin memberikan makna hakiki, karena ayah kandung Rasul meninggal di masa fatrah yang tidak ada seorang utusan pun yang datang kepadanya, ia tidak mungkin masuk neraka.ang dimaksud ayah Rasul yang divonis masuk neraka adalah Ab Thlib,

Abstract

“Al-Jāmi’ li Ahkām al-Qur’ān wa al Mubayyin limā Tadlammanah min al-Sunnah wa Āy al-Furqan” karya Imam Al-Qurtubi merupakan salah satu kitab tafsir yang sangat fenomenal. Kitab ini menjadi kitab tafsir yang paling lengkap dalam membahas fiqih di eranya. Tulisan ini merupakan artikel konseptual dan menghasilkan beberapa temuan.  Pertama, kitab tafsir ini bercorak fiqih karena lebih banyak mendiskusikan persoalan-persoalan fiqih dari pada persoalan-persoalan yang lain. Penulisnya memberikan ruang ulasan yang sangat luas dalam masalah fiqih dengan kajian lintas madzhab. Kedua, sebagai karya ulama besar yang berwawasan luas, kitab ini memiliki banyak kelebihan dibandingkan dengan kitab-kitab yang lain. Ketiga, di samping beberapa kelebihan itu ada beberapa catatan sebagai kritik atas karya ini dan menjadi bagian dari kekurangannya.

Abstract

Freedom of belief is one of the human rights that is often discussed in the international community, including freedom of religion. It has been stated in the Quran very clearly that everyone has the freedom to embrace a religion they believe in, beside it has also been explained by Allah that Islam is the most blessed religion. However, there are still forces in choosing a religion in various ways. One of the gifts that Allah has given to humans is freedom of religion based on his own beliefs and freedom of speech. This research focused on how the interpretation of the Archipelago Mufassir about freedom of religion and speech in the al-Qur'an. This study used a qualitative literature approach (Library Research). This type used the thematic analysis method. The primary data source was Tafsir Nusantara, the secondary data was the writer tried to collect data related to the discussion. The results of this study indicated that freedom of religion and speech according to Nusantara Mufassir’s (as Hamka, Quraisy Shihab dan Hasbi Ash-Shidieqy) interpretations towards QS. al-Baqarrah verse 256 that Allah has ordered his people not to force someone to adhere Islam but invite people to think about the truth of Islam. Furthermore, QS. al-Isra' verse 36 implies freedom of speech, it is explained that someone is allowed to speak the truth and not spread lies; a prohibition against talking about something uncertain and to determine something based on personal prejudice and allegation. This verse also prevents from such disadvantages, as accusation, wrong prejudice, lies and false witnesses.

Abstract

The diversity of race, ethnicity, language, religion or culture is the sunnahtullah which must be used as a reference for mutual understanding, complement and embrace each other, so that there is unity not a split which neither party wanted. Unity can create a strong and unbreakable nation. This research will examine in depth the diversity and unity with the perspective of the Interpretation archipelago. In this research used a qualitative approach with the type of literature review namely by using a thematic method which is descriptive-comparative. This research is in the book of interpretation of the archipelago shows that all the diversity of languages, races, skin colors, religions, cultures and so on, influenced by the place where he lives, and the degree of every human being is the same what sets it apart is the quality of piety. While unity is described with the brotherhood of believers which is based on faith and heredity, strife will end in chaos, while peace with the aim of seeking divine pleasure will be blessed.
