Abstract

ABSTRACT Nursing and nursing care actions are highly dependent on the communication process. Errors due to ineffective communication are still often found in hospitals and are very fatal for patients. Therefore, the National Hospital Accreditation Standard (SNARS) recommends communication methods that are expected to be a solution to ineffectiveness in communicating, namely the SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation) method. The general purpose of this study is to find out the relationship of applying SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment and Recommendation) in communication between nurses at Taman Harapan Baru Hospital 2022. This research method is quantitatively descriptive using cross sectional studies, and the statistical test is the chi square test. The research was conducted at Taman Harapan Baru Hospital with a sample number of 30 respondents. Sample selection method by means of total sampling, with primary and secondary data types. The results of statistical analysis showed that nurses who communicated efficiently there were 24 nurses (80%) and nurses who communicated ineffectively there were 6 nurses (20%). And based on the results of the Chi Square statistical test is a p value of 0.040. The conclusion in this study is that there is a significant relationship between the application of the SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation)  method and communication between nurses at Taman Harapan Baru Bekasi Hospital. Keywords : Communication, SBAR Method  ABSTRAK Tindakan keperawatan dan asuhan keperawatan sangat bergantung pada proses komunikasi. Kesalahan akibat komunikasi yang kurang efektif masih sering ditemukan di rumah sakit dan berakibat sangat fatal bagi pasien. Oleh karena itu, Standar Nasional Akreditasi Rumah Sakit (SNARS) merekomendasikan metode komunikasi yang diharapkan menjadi solusi ketidakefektifan dalam berkomunikasi yaitu metode SBAR (Situation, Background, Assessment, Recommendation). Tujuan umum penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan penerapan SBAR (Situation. Background, Assessment and Recommendation) dalam komunikasi antar perawat di RS Taman Harapan Baru 2022. Metode penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif desktriptif menggunakan studi cross sectional, dan uji statistik adalah uji chi square. Penelitian dilakukan di RS Taman Harapan Baru dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 30 responden. Metode pemilihan sampel dengan cara total sampling, dengan jenis data primer dan sekunder. Hasil analisa statistik menunjukkan bahwa perawat yang berkomunikasi secara efertif ada 24 perawat (80%) dan perawat yang berkomunikasi secara tidak efektif ada 6 perawat (20%). Dan berdasarkan hasil uji statistik Chi Square adalah p value 0,040. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan yang bermakna (significant) antara penerapan metode SBAR (Situation, Background, Asessment, Recommendation) dengan komunikasi antar perawat di RS Taman Harapan Baru Bekasi.  Kata Kunci : Komunikasi, Metode SBAR
