Abstract

Pao Village is one of the villages where STIBA Makassar Community Service Program (KKN) students were placed, in Bantimurung District. The purpose of this study was to elaborate burial system of caste in Pao community. Data collection in this study was through interviews with several community leaders in Pao village. The strategy employed was to give assignments to all KKN students and gather information that was found, then describe the findings in the form of a written article. The results show that the people of Pao Village are of caste level, those are: 1) Puang, 2) Karaeng, 3) Daeng, and 4) Ata (servant). Each of these levels has its own burial location and may not be mixed with the others because they are considered to have differences in social status while they live.

Abstract

The community service program is a form of the tri dharma of higher education that can be carried out through Student Community Service activities. One of the villages that is the location for the implementation of the STIBA Makassar KKN is Kalabbirang Village, which is located in Bantimurung District, Maros Regency, South Sulawesi. This article aims to provide a description of the community service process carried out by STIBA Makassar students in Kalabbirang Village. The program activities carried out are 1) Friday blessing; 2) Muslim fiqh taklim; 3) TPA development; 4) Dirose program; 5) Tahsin program; 6) Tarbiyah Islamiyah; 7) Halaqoh luhgawiyah; 8) youth taklim; 9) youth taklim; 10) Natural Tadabbur; 11) Handicraft training; 12) Training on organizing the body; 13) Festival of pious children. The results of the community service program contributed greatly to the formation of the Q'uranic community for the people in Kalabbirang Village.

Abstract

The Sharia Council of Wahdah Islamiyah is one of the strategic institutions in the structure of Wahdah Islamiyah Organization that has many visual recordings related to sharia consultations delivered by citizens. Therefore, in order to obtain broader benefits, the Sharia Council of Wahdah Islamiyah considers it important to do a transcript on the sharia consultation video. This process is done by copying the data through the recorded visual video. During one month of transcript process, 23 transcript files of Sharia Consultation were collected which were divided into five commissions, namely: General Commission, Worship Commission, Usrah Commission, Akidah Commission and Muamalah Commission. The results of this transcript were sent to the official email of the Sharia Council of Wahdah Islamiyah as an archive. The archive of transcripts of Wahdah Islamiyah Sharia Consultation that has been typed, can be one of the references of the Sharia Council which contains a collection of Questions and Answers (Q&A) of the Sharia Council of Wahdah Islamiyah and can be printed into a book for wider benefit.
