Abstract

In order to achieve business efficiency so that it becomes more competitive and more profitable, companies often carry out business mergers as a form of expansion. If the profit achieved by the company is higher, it can encourage an increase in its stock price, this is in accordance with fundamental rules. The purpose of this study was to examine whether there is a difference between the stock prices of PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia Syariah Tbk before and after the merger into PT. Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk. This research is classified as a comparative study, where the data used is stock price data within a time frame of 25 days before and after the merger. The analytical technique used is the Wilcoxon Signed Ranks Test. The conclusion of this study is that between the stock prices of PT. Bank Rakyat Indonesia Syariah before and after the merger into PT. Bank Syariah Indonesia Tbk there are significant differences. The difference that occurs shows that the stock price after the merger is higher than before the merger.

Abstract

The main problem in this study is that some teachers do not show maximum performance. Many factors affect teacher performance, but in this study analyzed through competence, self-efficacy, and transformational leadership of the principal as moderating variables. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of teacher competence and self-efficacy on teacher performance with the principal's transformational leadership as a moderating variable at senior high school Tangerang Regency. This research data is primary data, by distributing questionnaires to 94 public high school teachers in Tangerang Regency. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Square (PLS) program. The results of this study indicate that: (1) teacher competence affects teacher performance, (2) self-efficacy affects teacher performance, (3) principal transformational leadership weakens the influence of teacher competence on teacher performance, (4) principal transformational leadership strengthens the influence self-efficacy on teacher performance.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of profitability and funding policies on dividend policy and their impact on profit growth (study of food and beverage companies listed on the IDX). The population in this study are food and beverage companies listed on the IDX as many as 30 issuers. The sample obtained using purposive sampling with predetermined criteria so that 10 companies can be collected with a total of 50 financial statements. The type of data is secondary data sourced from financial reports and annual reports. The data analysis method used in this study is the classical assumption test, the coefficient of determination test (R2), multiple linear regression tests, and hypothesis testing using multiple linear analysis. The results of the study show that profitability has a significant effect on dividend policy, while funding policy has no significant effect on dividend policy. Significant profit growth mediates the effect of profitability on dividend policy, while not significantly mediates the effect of funding policy on dividend policy.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work motivation and perceived organizational support on the performance of civil servant teachers of public high schools in Bogor City, using the implementation of the Four Pillars of UNESCO Education as a performance measurement variable. The data collection method was carried out through a questionnaire distributed to 120 respondents of public high school civil servant teachers in Bogor City. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression techniques. The results showed that work motivation has a significant positive effect on teacher performance, and perceived organizational support also has a significant positive effect on teacher performance. In addition, the results of the analysis show that work motivation and perceived organizational support simultaneously affect teacher performance as measured by the implementation of the four pillars of UNESCO Education. These findings are expected to add to the theoretical scientific repertoire and have important implications for education management and school leadership in improving the performance of civil servant teachers of public high schools in Bogor City.
