Abstract

Abstract: This research background is based on conventional teaching activity of social studies where teacher explains material with speech method without using anyinteresting media for attracting student’s attention. Students just write teacher’sexplanation and are not active in the teaching and learning activities. This way ofteaching makes students feel bored, do not pay attention of teacher’s explanation andbecome easy forgetting the material. This way of teaching also decreases student’sscore in social science. So, it needs a problem solving by using a teaching medianamed “ Smart Tree “. The goal of this research is investigating the activity of teacher,student’s level of activity, student’s score of social studies before and after implement“ Smart Tree “ game, and problem arising during teaching learning process. Thisresearch uses classroom action research. The subject of this research are 24 fifthgraders of SDI Al Hadad Singgahan Tuban. The instrument of collecting data useobservation, test and interview. In teaching learning process the score of teacher’sactivities increases from 70% in first cycle, 85,83% in second cycle, and 95,83% inthird cycle. Then the score of student’s activities increases from 66,80% in first cycle,72,77% in second cycle, and 87,50% in third cycle. Furthermore, the score of studentsstudying increases from 33,33% in the first observation, 70,83% in first cycle, 83,33%in second cycle, and 87,50% in third cycle. From the result, we can conclude that “smart tree “ game in teaching social studies can improve student’s score in fifth gradeof SDI Al Hadad Singgahan Tuban.

Abstract

This study aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes in fractional material in fifth gradeelementary school students. The research method used is a class action research method. The subjectsin this study were fifth grade students of Temaji I Elementary School, Jenu District, Tuban with 32students including 14 men and 18 women. Data collection techniques through observation techniqueswith observation of teacher activities and student activities and test techniques. The results showed anincrease from pre-cycle, which was previously only 10 students (31.25%) who reached the minimumcompleteness criteria increased to 14 students (43.75%) who completed learning, in the second cycleincreased to 19 students (59.4% ) and in cycle III also increased to 27 students (84.3%) who reachedthe minimum completeness criteria.

Abstract

Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan tujuan (1) mengembangkan perangkat perkuliahan pada mata kuliah materi dan pembelajaran Matematika SD dengan model pembelajaran kolaboratif; (2) mengetahui keefektifan perangkat perkuliahan pada mata kuliah materi dan pembelajaran Matematika SD dengan model pembelajaran. Penelitian dilakukan di kelas A mahasiswa PGSD semester II angkatan 2014 sebagai kelas eksperimen. Pengembangan dilakukan mengacu pada model R & D oleh Borg and Gall, sedangkan pada tahap uji coba perangkat perkuliahan digunakan One Group Pretest-Postest Design dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode validasi ahli, observasi dan tes hasil belajar. Berdasarkan analisis deskriptif diperoleh bahwa perangkat perkuliahan yang dikembangkan juga memiliki tingkat kelayakan baik untuk digunakan. Keefektifan perangkat perkuliahan diuji dengan membandingkan nilai hasil belajar ketika pretest dan postest mahasiswa PGSD semester II kelas A sebagai kelompok uji coba lapangan (kelompok eksperimen). Sebelum menggunakan perangkat perkuliahan yang dikembangkan ketika pretest rata-rata skor yang dicapai mahasiswa adalah 62,5 dengan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar 10%. Setelah digunakannya perangkat perkuliahan dengan model pembelajaran kolaboratif selama pembelajaran, rata-rata skor yang dicapai mahasiswa ketika postest adalah 82 dan ketuntasan klasikal yang dicapai adalah 85%. Dari hasil belajar tersebut terlihat ada peningkatan nilai hasil belajar mahasiswa ketika pretest dan setelah postest. Artinya perangkat perkuliahan yang dikembangkan efektif untuk digunakan.

Abstract

The teachers' ability of SDN Saringembat 1 and SDN Mulyorejo towards technology-based learning media is still low. Therefore, it is still minimally used for online learning. The solution offered is to conduct training on the use of google classroom and google form. The implementation method of this training was by demonstrating, assisting and assigning participants to use the application. Based on the results of the analysis, 95% of participants gained insights and skills related to the use of google classrooms and google forms for online learning. In fact, 65% of them were committed to utilizing these media in learning.
