Abstract

The low quality of reading the Qur'an in the midst of the rapid development of the Al-Qur'an Educational Institution (TPQ) in the community. This is because not all TPQ are able to manage it so it has not been fully successful. The purpose of this study, to describe the planning, organization, implementation, supervision, supporting and inhibiting factors, as well as efforts to improve the Qiraati Method. This study uses a qualitative approach, descriptive method, with data collection techniques from interviews, observation and documentation. The conclusion is that 1) the planning of the Qiraati Method is in accordance with its function, but there are still limitations in teacher resources, infrastructure and finance. 2) Qiraati Method organization it is in accordance with its function, but there are still weaknesses in teacher resources due to double jobs and the lack of Qiraati teacher resources. 3) the implementation of the Qiraati Method is in accordance with its function, but there are still weaknesses in teacher resources in managing learning and teacher teaching motivation. 4) supervision of the Qiraati method, is in accordance with its function, but there are still many obstacles in achieving the target, namely supervision activities for classes/volumes and the institution's achievement targets have not been maximized. 5) supporting and inhibiting factors, all personnel are Qiraati syahadah, continuous development, teacher and student learning motivation, parental support. 6) efforts to improve learning by developing Qiraati teacher resources and infrastructure.

Abstract

The low independence of Islamic boarding school graduates in the field of skills is still visible today, because the planning, implementation and supervision of Islamic boarding school character education has not been maximized in increasing the independence of students. The purpose of this study is to obtain an overview of planning, implementation, monitoring, inhibiting factors, and efforts to overcome obstacles. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results showed that: : 1) Planning has been carried out according to the theory through curriculum and programs according to the pesantren model, but has not been supported by policies on developing skills programs and infrastructure resources. 2) The implementation has been carried out according to the theory through socialization, coordination and motivation, but it has not been maximal in shaping the character of the independence of students because of the lack of support for HR competencies. 3) Supervision has been carried out according to the theory through direct observation and assessment, but has not been maximized because it is still focused on the core program. 4) Inhibiting factors include the lack of core program learning facilities and skilled professionals. 5) Efforts to overcome obstacles through approaches, sanctions, expand alumni collaboration, and fundraising. Management of character education in increasing the independence of students in Islamic boarding schools in Cirebon Regency has been carried out according to management theory through the stages of planning, organizing, implementing, and supervising according to the curriculum and programs developed, but has not been maximized in forming students' independence due to policy and resource constraints

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools educate students to study religious knowledge, to be skilled and independent when they return from boarding schools to be role models. The general purpose of this research is to find out the empowerment of students in an effort to improve the economy in Islamic boarding schools. This study uses a qualitative approach, descriptive method with observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results showed that the planning of the empowerment of students started from the vision and mission, programs, objectives, stages and strategies of empowerment. Organizing, that each head of the business unit has the responsibility to control, guide, direct and report to the leadership of the pesantren. Santri, alumni and the community are involved in the organizational structure, this placement is adjusted to the abilities and skills possessed. Implementation, refers to a needs analysis, namely what is needed by students, congregations and the community, starting from the leadership example, training, dividing groups according to interests, mentoring, guidance which is a follow-up to the training. Evaluation is carried out according to the situation and conditions but routine activities are carried out weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annually. Supporting factors include exemplary leadership, public trust, the location of the limited professional human resources, some are less updated with the times, family innate factors with different backgrounds, the existence of Islamic boarding schools The results of the empowerment of students in both economic boarding schools are increasing and developing.
