Abstract

Abstract: Indonesia consists of various racial, ethnic or religious group. Therefore, need awareness of the Society to perform in a more understanding and assessment in education. Discourse on diversity must be addressed wisely so as not to bring any conflict, as had happened some time ago. Pluralist-multicultural concept seems appropriate to be applied in education as an understanding and assessment of diversity in Indonesia to raise harmony together and prevent the conflict. Education made special shots because this is where the search process beginning stock of one’s life meaning. In education will form a value system that direct a person to move and act based on the value system that he belong to. Keyword: Concept, Pluralist, Multicultural, and Education.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to see the implementation of the principal’s academic supervision in the development of teacher professionalism. The research method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques by observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the study found that the planning carried out by the principal was well structured in accordance with the existing provisions, as for the academic supervision carried out by the principal, namely, first the principal set goals, the second held discussions with teachers and other personnel by deliberation/meeting, and The third is carrying out the academic supervision schedule which will be carried out in one semester there are 2 times, namely at the beginning of a new teaching and at the end. The educational process in each educational unit is carried out by providing examples, building the will, and developing the creativity and independence of students in accordance with the development, intelligence, and independence in the context of achieving graduate competency standards. In every implementation of a program that has been planned, it must not be separated from the obstacles and difficulties. From this description, the researcher concludes that the implementation of academic supervision is assistance given by the principal to improve the teaching and learning situation, whether success or failure is largely dependent on the supervisor. Professional.

Abstract

This study aimed to prove the effectiveness of the application of the group investigation learning model in improving students' interpersonal skills. The sample of this study was 116 students, which was determined by a simple random sampling technique. This experimental research used pre-test post-test Control Group Design. Data were obtained by direct observation of the interpersonal skills of students during the learning process. Final observation score of interpersonal skills is 0.026 and the t value count greater than t table (2.272>1.980). Thus, there are differences in interpersonal skills between the experimental class and the control class. This means that the use of the group investigation model is effective in improving students' interpersonal skills.

Abstract

This article focuses on the contribution of the peace school program as one of the implementations of religious moderation strategies in schools. This qualitative research with a phenomenological approach was applied using structured interviews and documentation studies at SMUN Sugihwaras Bojonegoro as a pilot school for the peace school program. The empirical data illustrates the concept of the peace school program, the implementation of the peace school program, and the contribution of the peace school program as a strategy for implementing religious moderation in schools. This study found that the peace school program is one of the programs that significantly contributes to realizing the implementation of religious moderation in schools. This program implements the concept of religious moderation that focuses on inculcating and internalizing the values ​​of tolerance and peace. This program targets the three main pillars of the education process: policies, practices of tolerance and peace in the school environment, and the management of student organizations.

Abstract

Sebuah kebenaran yang dicapai melalui berpikir sangat ditentukan oleh subyektifitas atau obyektifitas dalam berpikir. Sebagai diketahui bahwa, dalam membicarakan persoalan berpikir obyektif tidak bisa terlepas dari berpikir secara filsafati, sebab pada dasarnya filsafat mengajak manusia untuk berpikir menurut tata tertibnya (logika) dengan bebas yang tidak terikat dengan tradisi, dogma serta agama, dan dengan sedalam-dalamnya sampai ke dasar persoalan.

Abstract

Sains Barat dan sains Islam dalam beberapa aspek dianggap berbeda. Perbedaan ini sangat kelihatan ketika sains Barat dengan angkuhnya mengklaim bahwa sains tidak berhubungan dengan agama tdak lahir dari gereja, sementara Islam meyakini bahwa sains tidak dapat dipisahkan dari agama. Ini bisa terjadi karena sains Barat berakar pada ratio sementara sains Islam berakar pada wahyu. Pandangan ini kemudian melahirkan dikotomi antara ilmu-ilmu umum dan ilmu-ilmu agama. Inilah yang kemudian mendorong kalangan ilmuan muslim melakukan ijtihad untuk sebuah perubahan paradigma melalui islamisasi sains

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini, yakni untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis peran pengawas dalam Meningkatkan Kinerja Guru di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Kotamobagu. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Informan penelitian ini adalah pengawas, kepala madrasah, wakmad guru, dan peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dilakukan melalui tahapan reduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitan yang diperoleh bahwa peran pengawas dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru di Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 2 Kotamobagu, yakni dengan melakukan pembinaan terprogram dan terjadwal melalui rencana kepengawasan akademik (RKA), pengawas memberikan bimbingan, arahan, contoh merevisi, dan cara membuat dokumen 2 (Silabus dan RPP). a) Rencana Kepengawasan Manajerial (RKM), b) Rencana Kepengawasan Manajerial (RKM). Dalam melakukan pembinaan khusunya kinerja guru yakni dengan di awal semester dan akhir semester ganjil dan genap. 2) Peran pengawas dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru berdampak pada peningkatan kinerja dan kualitas guru. Pembinaan pengawas dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru dalam proses pembelajaran, membina penyusunan dokumen program tahunan dan rencana pelaksanaan pembelajaran (RPP), membina guru yang memiliki tugas tambahan dan hasil penilaian dilaporkan kepada guru yang dinilai. Rekomendasi hasil penelitian ini hendaknya Pelaksanaan pembinaan oleh pengawas dapat memberikan kontribusi penting dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru yang mengacu pada fungsi, prinsip, tujuan serta prosedur penerapan meningkatkan kinerja guru. Fokus pelaksanaan pembinaan pengawas bukan hanya terfokus pada seorang guru, tetapi pada semua guru lainnya karena semua guru sebagai tim kerja (cowokers) yang sama-sama bertujuan mengembangkan situasi yang memungkinkan terwujudnya peningkatan kenaikan pangkat dan kesejahteraan para guru.

Abstract

Tantangan teologis paling besar dalam kehidupan beragama sekarang ini yang dihadapi orang-orang beriman di tengah kenyataan pluralisme agama dewasa ini adalah bagaimana suatu teologi dari suatu agama mendefinisikan dirinya di tengah agama-agama lain. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kajian pustaka. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa, pada umumnya kaum beriman berpikir dengan double standars (standar ganda); agama kita adalah yang paling sejati dan berasal dari Tuhan, sedangkan agama lain hanya konstruksi manusia, atau mungkin juga berasal dari Tuhan tetapi dipalsukan oleh manusia. Sejarah mencatat bagaimana standar ganda ini telah melahirkan suasana saling curiga di antara umat manusia atas nama Tuhan. Agama tampaknya selalu hadir dalam wajah ganda, ambivalensi yang sulit diurai dan dimengerti lebih-lebih bila penganutnya menempatkan diri sebagai aktor dalam setiap konflik yang terjadi.
