Abstract

Kondisi pandemi Covid-19 membuat perubahan pada kehidupan masyarakat, termasuk dalam hal bekerja. Model bekerja yang awalnya dilakukan secara konvensional berubah menjadi kombinasi online (bekerja dari rumah) dan bekerja dari kantor, bahkan ada yang full online. Perubahan ini menuntut meningkatkan kemampuan (soft skill dan hard skill) serta berpengaruh terhadap psikologis seseorang baik dari segi kepuasan kerja, kelelahan kerja, dan rasa keterikatan karyawan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi pengaruh tuntutan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja dan keterikatan karyawan dengan menyisipkan variabel kelelahan kerja sebagai mediasi. Penelitian yang dilakukan bersifat kuantitatif dengan menyebarkan kuesioner secara purposive terhadap 100 responden yang bekerja secara online di daerah Jabodetabek. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa tuntutan kerja memiliki pengaruh negatif dan signifikan pada kepuasan kerja. Tuntutan kerja ini memiliki pengaruh negatif dan signifikan pada keterikatan karyawan. Kelelehan kerja mampu memediasi hubungan antara tuntutan kerja dengan keterikatan karyawan. Namun, kelelahan kerja tidak dapat memediasi hubungan antara tuntutan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja.

Abstract

Research shows that a company's greatness is usually determined by mostly 30% of employees, particularly those in the strategic position. In an insurance company, such a position is an underwriter. The insurance company that becomes the object of this research is PT Asuransi Candi Utama. This research uses qualitative analysis as the research method, with the data from interviews, documents, and literature studies. According to the research results, PT Asuransi Candi Utama needs improvements in its recruitment and selection system for underwriters. Recommendations for improving the recruitment system are to add another variant of recruitment methods; as for the selection system, the improvements would include several variants of tests for both cognitive profiles and personality profiles, as well as to add criteria for interview tests. The results of this research can be observed for more research.

Abstract

Performance management is a process carried out by the organization to ensure that the organization's business goals are aligned with the goals of the work units and individuals within it. The purpose of this study is to map business typologies, performance management direction and policies, the gap between theory and application performance management at PT XYZ, and strategy and implementation plans for company’s performance management. This research is an applied research with a descriptive qualitative approaches. Methods of data collection were carried out through surveys, interviews with 6 (six) managers and conducting studies on company performance management documents. Survey results were analyzed by comparing the mean value with predetermined assessment standards. Interview data were analyzed by using the content analysis method. The results of the research show that PT XYZ performance management needs to be improved starting from the stages of planning, implementation, assessment, up to performance rewarding. This study also compiles guidelines for the implementation of performance management plans by means of communication, appeals processes, training programs, trials, monitoring-evaluation and online implementation. The results of the performance management system design and its implementation plan need to be carried out by the management team and all employees on an ongoing basis with due regard to communication, appeals processes, training programs, trials, monitoring, evaluation and implemented online.
