Abstract

Community Service (PKM) is in collaboration with Sinabun Village, Sawan sub-district, Buleleng Regency, Bali Province, Indonesia. The villagers of Sinabun Village are mostly farmers, who have land that can be used to increase their income. Vanilli is currently a plant that has a high selling value that can be planted by utilizing vacant land owned by villagers. However, villagers are also faced with the ability to manage financial administration and taxation. So that the purpose of this activity is (1) hopefully that it can increase the income of villagers through planting or cultivating vanilla by utilizing vacant land, (2) to get an adequate understanding of village financial administration records or village accounting and (3) getting an adequate understanding of taxation in general. Community Service was carried out through counselling, discussion and direct question and answer in Sinabun Village on Saturday, May 29, 2021. The results of the activity which was attended by approximately 20 villagers that residents realized that vacant land could be utilized and the importance of financial and tax administration. This Community Service is expected to be useful for various parties including residents and the Sinabun Village community in particular, students, academics and the wider community in general.

Abstract

 AbstractVanilla is a productive plant with yields that are quite high in economic value and the cultivation process can be carried out on land that is not too large. This Community Service is in collaboration with Rancamaya Village, Bogor Municipality, West Java Province, Indonesia. In this activity, the lecturer team worked closely with the Rancamaya Bogor Village Head. The objectives of this PKM are (1) empowering and increasing the knowledge of farmer group members about how to cultivate vanilla in a semi-modern way, (2) empowering vanilla farmer groups through increasing knowledge in increasing vanilla fruit production and (3) empowering the community to increase knowledge of the entrepreneurial spirit. PKM is carried out by giving a presentation delivered by a resource lecturer and followed by a question-and-answer session. It is hoped that with this guide to the community, the people of Rancamaya Village, Bogor can (1) understand that empty land or available land can be used to increase residents' income by cultivating vanilla, (2) the community is more aware that vanilla cultivation can be an alternative business to increase the people's economy, and (3) the community is more aware that vanilla plants have a sale value that can improve the people's economy

Abstract

This Community Service (PKM) is in collaboration with Yayasan Manusia Indonesia Baru based in South Tangerang, Banten Province, Indonesia. In this activity, the team of lecturers collaborated with the management of Yayasan Manusia Indonesia Baru, which is an independent foundation with a focus on socializing the dangers of drugs and other addictions as well as providing guidance to drug users and their families. The purpose of this PKM is to help those under Yayasan Manusia Indonesia Baru prepare to enter the social stage of a career in accounting and taxation. In addition, the lecturers are also expected to motivate the assisted members of Yayasan Manusia Indonesia Baru to move forward and leave or forgeting to return to narcotics abuse activities. The management, employees and assisted members involved in this PKM are approximately 12 people with a teaching time of approximately 120 minutes offline on July 9, 2022. The methods used in the implementation of this PKM are counseling/lectures, tutorials, and online discussions. face to face. This PKM is expected to be useful for various parties including the management of Yayasan Manusia Indonesia Baru and its fostered citizens, students and academics. The socialization activity through the presentation of basic accounting and taxation guidance materials for Yayasan Manusia Indonesia Baru - Victory Outreach Bandung is one of the activities that help the community in this case, especially the inmates related to drugs, in increasing knowledge of the accounting and taxation professions that can be undertaken after completion of the rehabilitation process.
