Abstract

Proses belajar mengajar yang baik harus di dukung dengan sarana dan prasarana yang baik, faktor ini memicu peningkatan mutu pendidikan. Sejak pandemi Virus Corona di Indonesia, Pemerintah menyelenggarakan pembelajaran secara daring sehingga semua fasilitas sekolah tidak dapat berfungsi dengan baik karena tidak digunakan dalam jangka waktu yang lama. Hal ini berdampak pada fasilitas yang disediakan menjadi usang dan tidak digunakan sehari-hari. Saat ini dengan semakin berkurangnya efek pandemi, Pemerintah dan Kementerian Pendidikan mulai menerapkan kembali sistem pembelajaran tatap muka (luring) terbatas pada awal tahun ajaran 2021-2022. Menyikapi hal tersebut dengan mengikuti protokol kesehatan yang ditetapkan oleh pemerintah sebagai bentuk pengadian kepada masyarakat, memberi bantuan fasilitas berupa rak sepatu multifungsi yang dapat digunakan di ruang kelas dan perpustakaan untuk mendukung sistem pengajaran di sekolah. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di UPT SPF Sekolah Dasar Negeri 101862 Dolok Raga JL. Limau Manis, Tj. Morawa, Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Dengan melengkapi sekolah dengan fasilitas rak sepatu diharapkan dapat bermanfaat bagi siswa dan mendukung pihak sekolah untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang sehat dan bersih serta meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia.

Abstract

Salah satu jasa pengiriman barang yang banyak digunakan masyarakat Indonesia adalah PT Indah Cargo, dimana cabang Medan merupakan salah satu cabang terbesar sehingga kualitas pelayanan pengiriman pada cabang ini menjadi hal yang harus diperhatikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui level sigma dan memberikan usulan perbaikan kualitas pelayanan pengiriman di PT. Indah Cargo cabang Medan. Penelitian ini mengunakan metode Six Sigma, data dianalisa dengan metode DMAIC (Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve, Control). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jumlah produksi dari PT. Indah Cargo Medan sebesar 37.440 pcs dengan jumlah produk cacat yang terjadi dalam produksi sebesar 12.893 pcs. Berdasarkan data tersebut maka PT. Indah Cargo Medan memiliki level sigma sebesar 1.89 dengan kemungkinan kerusakan sebesar 344.477 untuk sejuta produksi (DPMO). Usulan perbaikan (improve) yang diberikan yaitu memperbaiki setiap elemen yang menjadi penyebab masalah dan menghilangkan kegiatan yang tidak menambah nilai pada proses pengolahan dan pengiriman barang di PT. Indah Cargo Medan.

Abstract

Bahayanya formalin bagi kesehatan manusia mengharuskan kita untuk dapat megetahui apakah ada kandungan formalin yang umumnya dipakai untuk mengawetkan makanan. Penyalahgunaan ini harusnya dapat diketahui dengan mudah. Untuk itu perlunya alat yang dapat mendeteksi kandungan formalin pada makanan. Penggunaan sensor gas adalah cara tercepat untuk mendeteksi formalin yang dipakai pada makanan karena tidak diperlukan proses kimia yang tidak instan. Sensor HCHO dipakai sebagai piranti mengecap gas hidrogen lalu merubahnya menjadi nilai digital atau sinyal elektrik dan mengirimmya ke arduino untuk diolah dan diproses menjadi satuan konsentrasi gas dalam part per million (ppm). Dengan metode ini dapat diketahui dengan praktis penyalahgunaan formalin pada makanan.

Abstract

Biogas is an innovative product that is able to increase added value in household organic waste. Biogas is the result of the fermentation process of organic waste using Biodigester products. This service aims to help partners utilize organic waste into alternative fuels in the form of biogas. From several experiments that have been carried out, the composition of the comparison of raw materials for organic waste is 5 kg, 5 liters of water, and EM 4 500 ml. The biogas obtained is 13 psi with a long duration of use for 21.33 minutes. Biogas from household organic waste has the advantage of reducing the accumulation of organic waste and utilizing household organic waste as an alternative energy source. Energy from biogas can be used as household fuel. With the presence of biogas from organic waste, Sei Suka Deras Village has an alternative solution in utilizing household organic waste which has been a problem of air pollution, beauty and environmental comfort. Abstract

PT. Toba Pulp Lestari, Tbk is a company engaged in the pulp and kerta production business with domestic and foreign product marketing areas. PT. Toba Pulp Lestari, Tbk is one of Indonesia's largest pulp and paper producing companies. The purpose of this study is to determine the ability of the process based on existing off-grade products using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis and Fault Tree Analysis methods to then control and analyze the causes of off-grade products and seek improvements. The results showed that there were 3 types of off-grade products: Low Brightness, Dirt Count, and Viscosity. From the calculation, the results were obtained that the largest off-grade products were X1 (viscosity) with a number of smallpox products as much as 167 tons with 26.95%, X2 (brightness) with a number of defective products with as much as 332 tons with 53.55%, and X3 (dirt count) with the number of defective products as much as 124 tons with 20%. From the FMEA results, the highest Risk Priority Number (RPN) value was obtained, namely 432 for the cause of failure due to irregular setting of the temperature and time of the digester and washing machine at Low Brightness failure. For continuous improvement, various aspects are carried out, namely human aspects, work environment, work methods, machines, and, materials.

Abstract

PT. PP London Sumatra is a factory that processes oil palm fruit into Crude Palm Oil (CPO). Oil palm fruit that comes from plantations is re-sorted by the sorting operator based on the level of fruit maturity. This sorting process is done manually using a gancu tool. At initial observation, it appears that workers have a poor working position so there is a musculoskeletal risk, so that data collection will be carried out using the Nordic Body Map Questionnaire, interviews, and documentation in the form of photos of the operator while working. Musculoskeletal risks were observed in several areas of the body, such as the back, waist, neck, upper arms, forearms, and wrists. Body posture analysis using Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) and Rapid Upper Limb Assessment (RULA) methods was used in this study. The REBA method is used to analyze the lower and upper body postures, while the RULA method is to analyze the lower body postures. In the REBA analysis results obtained a score of 10 with a very high level of risk while RULA obtained a score of 7 with a high level of risk. Provision of repair solutions is carried out on sorting operators, namely changing body posture while working and suggestions for repairing work tools. At the analysis stage of improving posture, the REBA score fell to 7 with a mod.

Abstract

PT Indonesia Asahan Aluminium (Persero) is one of the State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) engaged in aluminum smelting and is the only company engaged in the aluminum smelting industry in Indonesia. This research was conducted in the spare parts warehouse, where the problem is that the layout of the warehouse is still random and not neat, causing disruption of the storing issuing process and activities in the warehouse. Shared storage and dedicated storage is a methods of redesigning the storage layout to get a repair design. Then to get the optimum design results, the calculation results of the two methods are compared to obtain an efficient improvement design from the actual conditions. The results of the shared storage design obtained a mileage minimization of 1,133.18 m. Dedicated storage can minimize mileage by 394.59 m. This distance has decreased from the previous distance the initial layout distance was 5,639.00 m. So that the optimal method used is the shared storage method with a distance reduction of 4,505.82 m of material handling travel from the initial conditions. With this research, it is hoped that the spare parts warehouse will be neater and more organized so as to facilitate activities in storing and picking up goods, and can save used blocks.

Abstract

Inventory control is a company policy related to investment and service to consumers. CV. Parna Jaya Motor is a company engaged in the sale and repair of motorcycles. The problems that occur in this company are related to inventory controlspare partsthat causes consumer demand to bespare partsnot fulfilled. To overcome this, the company must be able to control inventoryspare partsso that consumer demand is fulfilled by applying the ABC Analysis method, then calculating the MRP to find out the number of orders (EOQ), order frequency (SS) and when to place an order again (ROP). The results of data processing using the method above obtained results for the ABC classification of 45 speciesspare parts,gotspare partsbelonging to class A consists of 13 speciesspare partswith an investment value of IDR 807,455,000 or 68% of the total investment, class B consists of 12 typesspare partswith an investment value of IDR 250,323,000 or 21% of the total investment and class C consisting of 20 typesspare partswith an investment value of IDR 127,266,000 or 11% of the total investment. Of 13 typesspare partsclass A which is a priority, EOQ results range from 28-293 units, F results range from 7-13 times/year, SS results range from 23-82 units, ROP results range from 95-303 units, and TC results everyspare partsranges from IDR 595,500 – IDR 1,075,200 with all TCspare partsRp. 10,101,900.

Abstract

PT. XZY is a company engaged in the processing of tea leaves. In carrying out the processing of tea leaves, this company uses equipment and machinery to process selected fresh teas, including a cup roller press machine. Damage to the machine or its components during an emergency can result in huge losses for the company. The purpose of this study is to implement a comprehensive maintenance program using the overall equipment effectiveness method and six big losses. From the results of the research conducted, the OEE value was obtained at 48.19% -55.92%. And the six big losses include breakdown losses 34.29%-45.38%, setup and adjustment losses 4.94%-10.73%, idle and minor stoppage losses 34.29%-45.38%, reduced speed losses 9.31% -17.87%, rework losses 0%.

Abstract

This research contains a study of the effect of working hours on mental workload using the Subjective Workload Assessment Technique (SWAT) method. Workload is a consequence of activities given to workers, worker activities can basically be distinguished between physical activities and mental activities. In practice, the workload encountered is a combination of physical workload and mental workload. This study aims to measure mental workload at 10 work stations in the production section at PT Berlian Eka Sakti Tangguh. The SWAT method is a subjective mental workload measurement method based on workers' perceptions. The dimensions are time load, mental effort load and psychological pressure load. The results of the calculation of workload based on SWAT found that the workload category of workers in the production section is at a moderate and high level. The highest workload was experienced at the palm oil storage station (5 workers) at 83.71%. The lowest workload was experienced at the stewing station (3 workers) at 27.36%.
