Abstract

Background: The prevalence of which continues to be higher and has become a global dilemma that includes unhealthy lifestyle behaviors is hypertension. Alcohol consumption, obesity, stress, smoking, and lack of activity are examples of risk factors for hypertension. If hypertension is not controlled, it increases the occurrence of other complications such as atherosclerosis, stroke, aneurysm, kidney disease and metabolic syndrome (Roesmono 2017). Objective: To find the relationship between knowledge level using blood control attitude in Hypertension Patients at Tanjung Selamat Health Center, Kec. Tualang Field. Method: Analytical quantitative research through a cross-sectional approach Results: There was a significant relationship between the level of knowledge about hypertension and the attitude of controlling blood pressure. Because it has been stated that most of the respondents who have sufficient knowledge are 56 respondents (30.10%) and 89 respondents (86.41%) have a good attitude to control blood pressure. Conclusion: found a correlation between the level of knowledge about hypertension with the attitude of controlling blood pressure at the Tanjung Selamat Health Center, Padang Tualang district. Abstract

Background: Diseases with a significant number of sufferers include cardiovascular disease, as well as cancer, hypertension and diabetes mellitus or commonly called degenerative diseases (Potter & Perry, 2018). The group of metabolic diseases that have abnormalities in insulin secretion, insulin action which has a characteristic KGD that exceeds normal limits (hyperglycemia) can be called diabetes mellitus. This disease can be experienced in children or adults. It can even exist without having signs of disease and can be known if a routine health check is carried out (Soegondo, 2017). Objective: To obtain results on the effect of giving soy milk on KGD in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus in the working area of Pagar Jati Public Health Center, Lubuk Pakam District. Research design: Pre-experiment and purposive sampling technique with a sample of 50 respondens. Conclusion: KGD in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus before being given soy milk was mostly in the range of 160 mg/dl – 200 mg/dl, KGD in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus after being given soy milk was mostly <160 mg/dl, and found an effect on milk administration. soybeans on KGD in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. Abstract

DSME merupakan suatu proses pemberian pengetahuan pasien tentang manajemen diri untuk mengendalikan kadar glukosa darah dengan pengaturan diet, latihan fisik, serta terapi farmakologis sehingga penederita diabetes melitus dapat mempertahankan glukosa darahnya secara optimal dibandingkan mereka yang tidak memiliki kemampuan mengendalikan kadar glukosa darah dengan baik yang akan mengalami komplikasi seperti luka diabetik, penurunan penglihatan dan neuropati. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh program diabetes self-management education terhadap penurunan kadar gula darah pada pasien DM tipe II. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan desain Quasy Experimental dengan menggunakan rancangan Non Equivalent Control Group dengan jumlah sampel 30 orang yang terdiri dari 15 responden kelompok intervensi dan 15 responden kelompok kontrol. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kelompok intervensi p=0,001 (p<0,05) dan kelompok kontrol p=0,007 (p<0,05) artinya ada pengaruh DSME terhadap penurunan kadar gula darah. Diharapkan program ini terus diterapkan dan dikembangkan di dalam praktik keperawatan di rumah sakit, puskesmas, dan instansi kesehatan lainnya.
