Abstract

Selama masa pandemi Covid-19, kegiatan pelatihan menjadi pembelajaran jarak jauh (PJJ). Interaksi dalam PJJ dengan dengan media video conference menjadi tantangan bagi Widyaiswara untuk mengembangkan metode pembelajaran. Pengembangan metode pengajaran dengan teknik Live Fragmen dilakukan sebagai inovasi, dimana Widyaiswara berperan sebagai aktor utama dan menampilkan drama mini secara langsung di hadapan peserta saat pelatihan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran penerapan metode Live Fragmen dan melihat tingkat pemahaman serta pengalaman pembelajaran peserta setelah mengikuti pelatihan dengan menggunakan metode Live Fragmen, Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di BPSDM Kaltim, mulai dari bulan Agustus 2020 hingga Juni 2021. Metode penelitian ini ialah deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta pelatihan yang diadakan oleh BPSDM Kaltim berjumlah 461 orang. Sumber data menggunakan data primer yang didapat melalui kuisioner dan wawancara kepada subjek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebanyak 99,6% peserta pelatihan dapat memahami materi pelatihan dan sebanyak 98,7% peserta pelatihan setuju bahwa materi pelatihan dapat meningkatkan kompetensi pengetahuan, keterampilan dan perilaku peserta. Secara keseluruhan, peserta pelatihan menyatakan pengalaman pembelajaran yang positif. Peserta pelatihan merasa pelatihan yang dilaksanakan inspiratif, menghibur dan menyenangkan, serta dilaksanakan dengan profesional dan totalitas. Peserta merasa bersemangat karena pelatihan yang dilaksanakan berlangsung secara komunikatif dan interaktif, membawa metode pengajaran yang baru, dan materi yang disampaikan dalam pelatihan update. During the Covid-19 pandemic, all training activities to turn into distance learning (PJJ). Interaction in PJJ is a challenge for Widyaiswara to develop learning methods using video conference. The development of the teaching method using the Live Fragment technique was an innovative learning method, where Widyaiswara acted as the main actor and performed a mini-drama directly in front of the participants during the training. This study aims to see the implementation of the Live Fragment method application in PJJ, and to see the level of understanding and learning experience of the participants after attending the training using the Live Fragment method. This research was carried out at the BPSDM Kaltim. The research period starts from August 2020 to June 2021. This study used a quantitative descriptive research method. The subjects of this study were participants of training held by the BPSDM Kaltim. The amount of research subjects was 461 people. The data analyzed in the research were primary data obtained by questionnaires and interviews with the subjects. The results showed that 99.6% of participants could understand the learning materials and 98.7% subjects agreed that the learning materials could improve participant’s knowledge, skills and behavior. Overall, the participants expressed a positive learning experience. The participants thought that the training was inspiring, entertaining and fun, and also carried out with professionalism and totality. Participants were excited because the training was communicative and interactive, bringing new teaching methods, and the material presented in the training was updated.
