Abstract

The purpose of this study is to develop an instrument for assessing social attitude competence whose constructs are valid according to experts and empirically valid and reliable based on field trials in Civics learning for high school students. This research was conducted through a quantitative descriptive approach at SMP Negeri 1 Gebang. Social attitude assessment instrument was used and it contained 28 items and an expert validation observation sheet. Design validation was done by reviewing the product design by three experts (expert judgment). The study was conducted to determine the feasibility of the instrument from the aspect of substance, construction, and language of the social attitude assessment instrument. Advice was given by experts after doing research to get approval, which was later used as a benchmark to state that the product was logically valid. The measurement of the content validity of social attitude statements was conducted using Likert scale and the reliability test used the Rasch Model approach. The results of the field test showed that the social attitude assessment instrument was valid in terms of content and constructs. The reliability test using the Rasch model approach showed that the product reliability was categorized as satisfactory. The final product is considered suitable for direct use by teachers and can be further developed with grid references.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of economic background, upbringing, and environment on the development of early childhood students of class B Kindergarten in the Takakan District, Serang City. This research is categorized as explanatory research, namely research that aims to explain the causal relationship between variables through hypothesis testing. The population in this study were students of TK B group who were in Takakan District, Serang City. There are 12 kindergartens in Takakan District with a total of 507 students. The sample in this study amounted to 51 people. Research variables in path analysis are divided into independent variables (Independent Variable) and dependent variables (Dependent Variable). The results showed that in total there was no significant and positive effect of Economic Background on the Environment with a P-Value of 0.054 > 0.05. 2. The results show that in total there is no significant and positive effect of Economic Background on Early Childhood Development with a P-Value of 0.595 > 0.05. 3. The results show that in total there is a significant influence and positive value of Family Parenting Style on the Environment with a P-Value of 0.000 <0.05. 4. The results show that in total there is no significant and positive effect of parenting style on early childhood development with a P-value of 0.746 > 0.05. 5. The results show that in total there is a significant and positive influence of the Environment on Early Childhood Development with a P-Value of 0.746 > 0.05.

Abstract

Pendidikan Holistik Berbasis Karakter di TK Assalam. Dalam upaya melakukan pengembangan dan inovasi serta mencari format baru mengenai model pendidikan holistik berbasis karakter pada anak usia dini, peneliti melakukan penelitian mengenai pendidikan holistik berbasis karakter di TK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimanakah pelaksanaan pendidikan holistik di TK. Untuk itu peneliti memilih lokasi penelitian yakni TK Assalam, dengan kepala sekolah, guru dan orang tua siswa sebagai subjek penelitian. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan teknik studi dokumentasi, wawancara dan observasi, yang berdasarkan pada program pendidikan yang mengintegrasikan pendidikan agama, yaitu pendidikan holistik. Program pendidikan tersebut dilaksanakan malalui kegiatan pembelajaran terintegrasi berbasis karakter, kegiatan ko-kurikuler, ekstrakurikuler dan kegiatan kerjasama kemitraan orang tua dan guru melalui kegiatan parenting. Sementara kegiatan evaluasi dilakukan melalui penilaian harian dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, pencatatan anekdot, pengumpulan portofolio, unjuk kerja dan ditambah dengan kuesioner yang diisi oleh orang tua. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan pelaksanaan pendidikan holistik berbasis karakter di TK Assalam dapat meningkatkan kemampuan anak dalam setiap aspek perkembangan dan karakter.

Abstract

Fasilitas pendidikan dalam proses pembelajaran di sekolah diyakini mampu meningkatkan prestasi dan kualitas siswa. Dengan fasilitas sekolah yang mendukung siswa untuk belajar mandiri dan tidak hanya mengandalkan proses belajar mengajar di sekolah. Penulis melakukan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan antara ketersediaan fasilitas pendidikan, kondisi fisik, kebutuhan siswa dan juga kebutuhan tenaga pendidik di fasilitas pendidikan. Metode yang dapat digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan menggunakan analisis Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) berdasarkan varian yaitu Partial Least Square (PLS). SEM dengan variance-based PLS dapat menangani dua kondisi yaitu kondisi dengan faktor yang tidak ditentukan dan kondisi dimana solusi tidak dapat diterima. Penelitian ini menggunakan program komputer pintar PLS 4.0 dan menentukan variabel yang signifikan pada fasilitas pendidikan (Y) di TK Kec. Tarogong Kidul di Garut. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan diperoleh variabel yang paling mempengaruhi adalah kondisi fisik dan kebutuhan tenaga pendidik.
