Abstract

In the current era of revolution 4.0, the demands for renewal in the field of education are getting higher. As in the current post-pandemic period, the need for more practical and effective teaching materials is needed, balanced with the use of learning methods that are able to provide convenience and adapt to student learning styles. such as the use of teaching materials in the form of electronic books (E-books) which are packaged in the form of android-based learning media. Where the E-Book here also applies the scaffolding method as a form of assistance in the form of clues or instructions related to material that is quite difficult to understand. the type of research carried out is R&D (Research & Development) by adapting the development model of Thiagarajan, Semmel & Semmel (1974). The results of the study obtained a feasibility level of 85.6% with the criteria of "very feasible", the level of effectiveness of the N-Gain Score results of 82.99% "very effective" and from the results of the Paeired T test the sample test obtained a sig value < of 0.05. The results of student responses are 85.5% and 86.75% with the criteria of "very feasible". And the practicality level of the E-book is 92% with the "very practical" criteria

Abstract

This research aims to: produce e-modules using GlideApps, describe the feasibility of e-modules using GlideApps, and determine students' responses after testing the e-modules being developed. This type of research is development research with a 4D model. The e-module developed is reviewed and validated first by material experts, language experts and media experts. Then a limited trial was carried out on 30 students in class XI Accounting at State Vocational Schools in Surabaya. The results of this research indicate that the e-module using GlideApps for filling out Corporate Income Tax Returns is suitable for use. The feasibility of the material validation results is 87.5% in the very feasible category, the feasibility of the language validation results is 96% in the very feasible category, the feasibility of the media validation results is 92% in the very feasible category, and the student response results are 97.3 % showing a positive response.

Abstract

Technological advances and current industrial needs require students to adapt. Students are required to have 4C skills (critical, creative, communicative, collaborative). Critical reasoning skills are one of the abilities that vocational school level students are expected to master, which directs their graduates to be able to meet the needs of the business and industrial world. This research aims to develop teaching materials in the form of E-LKPD based on HOTS (Higher Order Thinking Skills) using a flip PDF display which consists of activities to train students' critical reasoning skills. This research uses the 4D development model (define, design, develop, disseminate) from Thiagarajan which was carried out until the development stage due to researcher limitations. The result of this development research is that the HOTS-based E-LKPD obtained an average validation score from experts of 86.88% which is categorized as very feasible. Meanwhile, the results of trials on students in class XI Accounting at State Vocational Schools in Surabaya obtained an average percentage of 96.3% which was interpreted as very good.
