Abstract

The ministry of national education (kemendiknas) stated the application of character education in every level from Elementary School to University. It is because during these days, educational world scored less succeed in introducing national generation to become prestige personality. It is implicated through every subject of study, like social studies. The position of social studies learning is so unique because there must be preparation to educate students to live and understand their world, where their personal and social quality will become more important. The developed values in character education are identified by: (1) religion, (2) Pancasila, (3) Cultural, and (4) National education purposes. The value of social studies, a teacher must push the students to become active in obtaining values. Through social studies, students are directed to be democratic and responsible citizen and also world citizen who love peaceful. The subject of social studies is designed to develop science, understanding and analysis ability to social community condition in entering dynamic society life. Keywords : Character Formation, Learning, Social Studies, Basic Education

Abstract

Low student learning outcomes to social studies is a problem that often arises in social studies learning. This is because the learning model still did not agree with the teaching objectives. Learning through learning model is expected to make a match the students' understanding and absorption of the material being taught can be achieved more quickly. Through this learning teachers deliver structured learning materials related to real life in the hope of the subject matter presented can be controlled by the student well and create a pleasant learning environment for students. This study aims to determine whether the implementation of cooperative learning model make a match in improving student learning outcomes in social studies teaching and learning activities in the classroom. This research is a classroom action research (PTK), which is carried out in three cycles of study with the matter "Maintaining Independence Struggle Indonesia". The subjects of this study were students of class V SDN Banjarsari 01 which consists of 24 students. Data collection was performed by the method of observation and tests. Analysis technique used is descriptive analysis techniques, the data obtained were analyzed by means checked for then classified into patterns, relationships, a theme or a particular category to the next is described using words to derive a conclusion. Based on test data studied is known that in the first cycle students who pass the study is still small, at only 33.3% of the total student with an average value of 62.50. In the second cycle increased to 62.5% with an average value of 69.37 and in Cycle III back has increased, reaching 87% with an average grade reaches 81.25. This indicates that learning by applying cooperative learning model Make a Match can improve learning achievement IPS fifth grade students of SDN 01 Banjarsari school year 2015/2016. Abstract

Mata pelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial merupakan mata pelajaran yang terintegrasi dari beberapa mata pelajaran ilmu sosial yang dirumuskan atas dasar realitas dan fenomena sosial yang diorganisasikan dan disajikan secara ilmiah dan psikologis untuk tujuan pendidikan. Dalam proses pembelajaran IPS sering dijumpai nilai hasil belajar siswa yang masih rendah. Guru memerlukan sebuah penerapan model pembelajaran yang bervariasi agar dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPS. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis metode penelitian eksperimen yang menggunakan desain pasca tes subjek acak dua kelompok. Desain ini merupakan salah satu desain yang paling sederhana dalam eksperimen dan paling kuat dari semua desain eksperimen. Dua kelompok subjek yang dipilih secara acak, masing-masing di tempatkan dalam kondisi yang berbeda. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan tes. Analisis data menggunakan metode statistik dengan rumus uji-t. Berdasarkan uji t di peroleh nilai thitung =5,194 dan nilai ttabel=1,725, maka thitung > ttabel, maka sesuai dengan kriteria perhitungan tersebut mengindikasikan bahwa H1 di terima dan H0 ditolak. Berdasarkan perhitungan tersebut dapat dilihat bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran NHT (Number Head Together) dan siswa yang diajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran STAD (Student Team Achievement Division Kata Kunci : NHT (Number Head Together), STAD (Student Team Achievement Division), Hasil Belajar IPS The subject of Social Sciences is an integrated subject of several social science subjects formulated on the basis of reality and social phenomena organized and presented scientifically and psychologically for educational purposes. In the learning process IPS often found the value of student learning outcomes are still low. Teachers need an application of varied learning models in order to improve IPS learning outcomes. This research is a quantitative research with type of experimental research method using posttest designof two random subject subjects. This design is one of the simplest designs in experiments and the most powerful of all experimental designs. Two randomly selected subject groups, each placed in different conditions. Technique of collecting data by using test. Data analysis using statistical method with t-test formula. Based on the t test obtained tcount = 5.194 and tTabel = 1.725, thus thitung> tTabel, then in accordance with the calculation criteria indicates that H1 received and H0 rejected. Based on the calculation can be seen that there are significant differences between students who were taught using NHT (Number Head Together) learning model and students taught using STAD learning model (Student Team Achievement Division Keywords: NHT (Number Head Together), STAD (Student Team Achievement Division), Learning Results IPS

Abstract

This study aims to determine the different of the application of Student Team Achievement Division models and Team Assisted Individualizaton models in mathematic  student achievement 0f class V SDN Gading 01 and SDN Kebonagung 02 in 2015/2016 school year. This research design uses quantitative research methods. Collecting data in this study uses test methods. Test methods in this study is post test given to the control group and eksperimental group. Data analysis is used t – test.The result of data analysis t – test obtained value = 5,26. At the significance level 5% with t table =1,701. So that is = 5,26 . Therefore  is rejected and  accepted. The conclusion of this study is that different between application of Student Team Achievement Division models and Team Assisted Individualizaton models in mathematic  student achievement 0f class V SDN Gading 01 and SDN Kebonagung 02 in 2015/2016 school year.

Abstract

Outbond salah satu kegiatan dalam pembelajaran yang diharapkan mampu menimbulkan suasana yang menyenangkan dari pada pembelajaran di kelas. Penuh kegembiraan karena dilakukan dengan permainan. Siswa diajak untuk membebaskan diri dari paradigma lama , lepas dari batasan ruang dan formalitas yang sering menghambat keberanian, kreataifitas, dan menutup jalan untuk membuka diri seluas-luasnya bagi suatu perubahan positif. Kegiatan outdoor mampu memberikan suasana yang berbeda bagi anak dan lebih mendekatkan anak pada alam sekitar, yang menekankan pada pengamatan alam sebagai sumber utama pengetahuan. Oleh karena itu kegiatan belajar dilakukan melalui pengamatan di luar ruangan agar anak memperoleh berbagai macam pengetahuan salah satunya pengetahuan yang dapat berkembang adalah potensi kreatif yang terdapat dalam setiap individu anak melalui kegiatan bermain karena dunia bermain adalah dunia anak dan umumnya terjadi secara alamiah. Melalui kegiatan bermain anak mampu mengembangkan potensi tersembunyi dalam diri secara aman, nyaman, dan menyenangkan. Kegiatan bermain tersebut akan lebih bermakna dan menyenangkan bagi anak bila dilakukan di luar ruangan (outdoor) karena pengetahuan anak lebih luas dan berkembang karena mereka dapat menemukan sesuatu yang tidak ada saat sedang bermain di dalam ruangan. Untuk itu diperlukan berbagai macam kegiatan bermain yang dapat menstimulasianak untuk beraktifitas dan memiliki kegiatannya sendiri sehingga mampu menemukan hal baru dan dapat berpikir kreatif untuk memecahkan berbagai permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh anak.
