Abstract

Data prevalensi stunting menurut World Health Organization (WHO), Indonesia termasuk negara ketiga dengan prevalensi tertinggi di regional Asia Tenggara/South-East Asia Regional (SEAR). Saat ini lebih dari sepertiga jumlah balita (37,2%) di Indonesia menderita stunting. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah melakukan literatur review terhadap akses air bersih dan jamban sehat terhadap stunting. Metode yang digunakan adalah literatur review menggunakan database google scholar. Hasil penelitian menunuukkan bahwa kondisi lingkungan yakni kurangnya akses ke fasilitas sanitasi air bersih dan aspek jamban yang tidak memenuhi syarat sangat mempengaruhi kejadian stunting. Sehingga kondisi sanitasi lingkungan yang baik dapat melindungi anak terhadap kejadian stunting According to the World Health Organization (WHO) data on stunting prevalence, Indonesia is the third country with the highest majority in the Southeast Asia/South-East Asia Regional (SEAR) region. Currently, more than a third of children under five (37.2%) in Indonesia suffer from stunting. The purpose of this study was to conduct a literature review on access to clean water and healthy latrines against stunting. The method used is a literature review using the Google Scholar database. The study results show that environmental conditions, namely the lack of access to clean water sanitation facilities and aspects of latrines that do not meet the requirements, significantly affect the incidence of stunting. So that good environmental sanitation conditions can protect children against stunting.
