Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the attitude of the correctional advisor towards correctional clients at the Bapas Kelas I in Palangka Raya. For this type of research, the research method used is a qualitative method which seeks to describe the actual situation in the field where the observations were made. Sources of data obtained from interviews and observations of five informants who are correctional advisors with certain age criteria and the work experience of the informants while serving as correctional advisor. From these data sources, it was found that the attitude of the correctional advisor towards the correctional client refers to attitude indicators such as the cognitive aspect, namely the assessment of the correctional advisor to the correctional client is an individual who is lost and is having problems so that in the end they had to deal with the law. In the affective aspect, it is implemented into various emotions such as sad, happy, angry, etc., these emotions arise after the correctional advisor carries out guidance with the correctional client. Then the cognitive aspect is implemented into action resulting in the attitude of the correctional advisor when helping the problem solving process of the correctional client.

Abstract

This study is intended to help students adapt themselves and see the extent of the group guidance implications for the student's adaptation. Self-adjustment is needed especially for students who enter a new school, where self-adjustment is an individual's ability to meet the demands, both within himself and in the ward. The study used a descriptive qualitative approach to be able to see the process through an analyst for phenomena that occur in the field on factual issues and look at the comprehensive implications, with the subject of two male students and three female students. As a result of this study indicates improvement, students who follow group guidance convey aspirations and messages to be addressed by educators. In the performance of a group of student guides feeling its therapeutic effect, students can learn to appreciate, listen and speak with confidence.

Abstract

Emosi remaja terkadang cukup kuat, tidak terkendali, dan tampaknya tidak masuk akal. Ketika emosi cukup kuat, perilaku menjadi tidak terkendali. Remaja yang tidak dapat mengendalikan emosi cenderung akan berperilaku agresif dan tidak disiplin. Oleh karena itu diperlukan pelatihan/ training kestabilan emosi untuk melihat apakah mereka dapat mengenali masing-masing emosi yang ada pada diri individu, yang mana berpengaruh terhadap pengendalian emosi. Tujuan penelitan ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana pelatihan/training kestabilan emosi dapat berpengaruh terhadap pengendalian emosi. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian Mix Method (metode campuran). Sumber data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dengan turun langsung ke lapangan (field research) dan data sekunder melalui studi pustaka (library research) dengan menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket/kuesioner. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa berdasarkan hasil dari angket yang telah diteliti didapatkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil pre-test dan post-test setelah diberikannya pelatihan terhadap kestabilan emosi namun tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifilan antara hasil pre-test dan post-test terhadap tingkat kedisiplinan. Dengan kata lain, stabilnya emosi seseorang maka tidak akan menjamin tingginya peningkatan kedisiplinan siswa.
