Abstract

The study describes the intrapersonal leadership in a variety of organizational metaphors. The purpose of this study provides a conceptual constructs about intrapersonal leadership and the importance of intrapersonal leadership within the organization in a variety of perspectives. There are five metaphors, those are organisms, population ecology, transactional and power, the engine and psychological shackles. Recently studies have highlighted the importance of intrapersonal leadership in integrative view of the above five metaphors. This study provides the conceptual basis intrapersonal leadership and organizational implications of the hypothetical.

Abstract

In this research, theory of planned behavior in order to understand the entrepreneurial intention students by looking at the effects of attitude toward entrepreneurial behavior, subjective norms and self efficacy. Respondents of this research were 400 students of state university in Indonesia. Data is analyzed by multiple regression analysis. The result showed that attitude variable, subjective norm and self efficacy are affecting entrepreneurial intention. Analysis result showed that subjective norm were the most significant effect toward entrepreneurial intention.

Abstract

This research aims at analyzing the infuence of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation toward work satisfaction and staff performance. The information gained from this research is crucial for the institution as a consideration to apply the increase of staff’ performance. The subject of this research is the permanent educational personnel staffs of universities in Daerah Istimewa Yogyakarta. The technique of sample collecting applies the census method. The method of data collecting using survey method by distributing the questionnaires involves 104 respondents. The data is analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) which is run through AMOS 21 program as the analysis tool. The research findings show that intrinsic motivation and extrinsic motivation have positive influence toward the  work satisfaction. Then intrinsic motivation has a positif effect toward the work satisfaction, meanwhile extrinsic motivation does not have influence toward the work satisfaction, and the work satisfaction has a positive influence toward the work performance. Generally, this model is supported in field.

Abstract

The purpose of this library study is to establish model and propositions that explain intention to be entrepreneur based on information technology (IT). Based on modification of TPB (theory of planned behavior) and TAM (technology acceptance model), this research constructed model intention to be entrepreneur based on information technology. The results produce six propositions that explained antecedents attitude, risk perception, subjective norms and consequences all of these variables.

Abstract

This study is a short review and concise note of the article Lengnick-Hall et al. (2009) about his article entitled “Strategic human resource management: The evolution of the field.” This study examines the evolution and chronological processes of developing strategic human resource management literature. There are seven themes in strategic human resource management. The study also discusses current and future trend issues in strategic human resource management. Finally, this paper provides a strategic human resource management research note.

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of high-performance human resource practice on work engagement in the Secretary Office of the Regional House of the Representatives City of Dumai by using indicators of high-performance human resource practices, which consist of extensive training, employment security, participation and communication, selection and recruitment, and reward and compensation as independent variables. This quantitative research had a total sampling technique of 100 respondents. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires which were then processed using the IBM SPSS 26 application. The results indicated that the variables of extensive training, selection and recruitment, and reward and compensation had a positive and significant impact on work engagement. At the same time, the variable employment security had a positive but insignificant impact on work engagement. The variable of participation and communication had a negative but insignificant impact on work engagement.
