Abstract

Electricity is one of the vital needs that is indispensable for all humans and other places, one of which is PT. Cemindo Gemilang, engaged in the cement-producing industry, requires a huge electricity capacity. To reduce or reduce the cost of electrical energy, a power plant unit and a WHRS (waste heats recovery system) were made to supply electrical energy to the cement plant area. PT. Cemindo Gemilang and the Power Plant rely heavily on electric motors, almost all of which operate using electric motors. The electric motor is a single-phase or three-phase type with a voltage of 11 KV, 6.6 KV or 400 volts. When all generating units operate, all electric motors that play an essential role will continue to be active so that damage is often caused by operation and service life therefore in the power plant department, and there is an electrical and mechanical maintenance division to maintain the continuity of the power plant operational system. This study's aim 1). Explain about electric motors, 2). Explain the definition of the water jet pump, 3). Explain how the water jet pump works 4). Explain the components used in electric motors and their repair and maintenance.

Abstract

In a steam power plant, of course, it has a very important prime mover, namely an electric motor, but electric motors are used in a variety of functions, one of the main roles in this electric motor is as a condensate extraction pump in a steam power plant which functions to push materials for power plant production. Steam power, namely sea water, goes to the generator to become a power plant. The method used is qualitative by using observation techniques, interviews and literature studies. This condensate extraction pump (CEP) electric motor can be operated automatically and manually for routine maintenance and good inspection results.

Abstract

Metro ethernet merupakan teknologi yang mampu menjangkau kota besar bahkan metropolitan agar bisa melayanai kebutuhan teknologi saat ini. Packet Tracer adalah sebuah software simulasi teknologi jaringan luas yang memungkinkan siswa untuk melakukan percobaan dengan membuat suatu jaringan dan mengembangkannya. Adapun tujuan penulisan artikel ini untuk membuat sebuah simulasi rancangan jaringan transport metro ethernet dengan bantuan aplikasi cisco packet tracer. Metode yang Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan Teknik pengumpulan data berupa studi litelatur dan membuat sebuah rangkaian simulasi di aplikasi cisco packet tracer.Untuk membuat suatu simulasi metro ethernet antar cabang bank yang dimana bank ini mempunyai 3 cabang yaitu Jakarta, Semarang dan Surabaya. Cabang-cabang tersebut mempunya 3 bagian yaitu: teller, CS dan audit. Dimana antara bagian terkomunikasi dan sesama bagian antar cabang bisa saling berkomunikasi.

Abstract

Vocational high schools which produce students ready to enter the world of work require the learning system used to be oriented towards developing students' skill competencies. Through independent learning, SMKN 1 Cilegon implements a block system through teaching factory learning to improve the quality of learning. Teaching Factory is a production-oriented learning that has been adapted to relevant field expertise competencies and is focused on project creation. The method used in this research is a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques in the form of literature study, observation and documentation. The findings from this research show that the skills possessed by these students are average, no one is left behind in understanding and adapting all forms of theory and practice so that the involvement of Teaching Factory learning in this block system is very effective.
