Abstract

Longan is a fruit that is much liked by the people of Indonesia. Several types of longan fruit circulating in the market are still obtained by importing, so the opportunity to cultivate longan in Indonesia is still high. Although most longans grow in the highlands, now many longans grow in the lowlands. Simoketawang Village Sidoarjo is located in the lowlands and in this village has longan village tourism that has the potential to be developed. One of the programs to support longan village tourism is the longan seed nursery. So far, longan seeds are obtained by buying and it is hoped that villagers will have the ability to do longan seedlings so they don't need to buy more and can even be sold to make a profit. The implementation of community service this time is aimed at the initial step of kengkeng seedling nursery, namely by making a shade house design for the seed house.

Abstract

The matching fund is a program that helps youth organizations in Simoketawang village to increase their economic productivity. Universitas 17 August 1945 or Untag Surabaya through the Matching Fund program seeks to connect the world through the business world in Simoketawang village. A real effort to equip new businesses in preparing youth content creators to enter the online world media so that they can help them create creative and interesting content. We will create media content in simoketawang village. We have trained them in product creation, innovation and design and also provided new ideas in their media content productivity so that they become reliable content creators in online social media. This matching fund activity is to improve the quality of youth human resources through content media products in Kelengkeng Simoketawang Tourism Village, Wonoayu District, Sidoarjo Regency. The method of implementing this activity is carried out collaboratively between the implementers of the Companion Fund program, the Community Empowerment & Village Development Agency, and is divided into three stages, namely preliminary surveys, training and marketing with target youth groups. The results of these activities include increasing practical knowledge that is easy to apply in production for the creation of media content on social media content. In this training, youth organizations know how to create media content properly and in accordance with social media rules in publications. The youth organizations are very enthusiastic and enthusiastic in supporting the program in the longan tourism village and participating in this training can be seen from the success of producing quality content media after they held an independent exercise.

Abstract

Desa Simoketawang, Sidoarjo, sedang bergerak menjadi desa wisata. Tanah Kas Desa (Fardiah) yang lokasinya tersebar akan dikembangkan menjadi obyek-obyek wisata yang menarik. Program desa wisata ini memerlukan master plan yang dapat menjadi pedoman dalam mengembangkan desa wisata secara lebih terintegrasi dan terencana. Oleh karenanya, kegiatan pengabdian ini hendak memberikan pendampingan dengan melakukan penyusunan master plan pengembangan desa wisata agar dapat digunakan perangkat desa sebagai pedoman dalam mengembangkan kawasan. Perencanaan master plan dilakukan dengan metode partisipatif, melibatkan perangkat desa sebagai nara sumber untuk menjaring aspirasi dan mengidentifikasi kebutuhan masyarakat desa. Observasi lapangan juga dilakukan untuk mengumpulkan data primer. Kegiatan dilakukan bekerjasama antara perangkat desa Simoketawang dengan dosen serta mahasiswa Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 Surabaya melalui program MBKM Matching Fund tahun 2022 Setiap TKD memiliki potensi dikembangkan dengan tema spesifik agar menarik wisatawan, dengan tetap mempertahankan keberlanjutan fungsi pertaniannya. Konsep sirkulasi wisata yang terintegrasi, diharapkan dapat memberikan rasa aman dan nyaman bagi pengunjung untuk mengakses setiap destinasi wisata.

Abstract

The application of dome buildings in tourist education facilities in Simoketawang Village, Sidoarjo aims to increase educational value and attract tourists to visit the village. In this discussion, we explore the benefits and potential of applying dome structures in the context of educational tourism in Simoketawang Village. Through literature recognition, we found that the application of dome structures, such as geodesic domes, ellipsoid domes, and tropical domes, can provide architectural uniqueness and interesting experiences for visitors. Geodesic domes, with triangular segment structures, provide robustness and efficiency in construction, while ellipsoids of domes give a dynamic and aesthetic impression of modernity. The tropical dome, with its hollow and open design, prioritizes air circulation and natural lighting. In addition, the discussion also involved aspects of sustainability and community participation in the development of village tourism. The application of domes in tourist education facilities can support sustainable design principles, such as the use of natural materials and optimization of natural resources. In addition, the participation of local communities is also important in the preservation of cultural heritage and the development of ecotourism in Simoketawang Village.By combining unique architectural designs, educational values, and launches, the application of domes buildings in Simoketawang Village can provide a unique and interesting tourist experience for visitors, while supporting the development of ecotourism and the preservation of local culture.
