Abstract

The common problem of primary teachers in class situation is to create an effective learning environment by involving their competence to connect rational understanding, conceptual approaches, and adaptive considerations in delivering content material. In addition, the implementation of CBI in the context of teaching foreign languages requires teachers to have the ability to design content-based lesson planning and emphasize language skills. The study involved narrative research to explore the pre-working EFL female teacher experience with content-based instruction during the teacher preparation program. The study is based on theoretical concepts related to the professional knowledge of teachers about EFL and PCK (Pedagogical Content Knowledge) as the way EFL teachers describe their pedagogical knowledge. Data is obtained from various sources like: interviews, post-observation, learning diary, autobiography, and personal accounts. The data is then analyzed to generate evidence of how the participant actively applies CBI in teaching practice placement, how he creates class situation, and his aspirations about the future career of CBI. Three experience teachers of foreign language students with content-based instruction: exploring the identity/innovation interface” claim that the PCK enables students-teachers to implement CBI successfully.

Abstract

This study aims to develop augmented reality as an anti-corruption educational media in the teaching of Islamic religious education. Data processing using research and development methods ADDIE model. Validity tests and measurement of N-Gain scores were used to see the effectiveness of the product. Three junior high schools with different environmental characteristics participated in this study. The findings of this study indicate that; first, the development of augmented reality for the realm of anti-corruption education can be adapted to the Basic Competencies of Islamic Religious Education subjects on the themes of honesty, trustworthiness, and istiqomah for class VII Semester 2. Second, there is an increase in knowledge of the value of anti-corruption education for students of SMP N 02 Bawang by 79.5%, 79% of students of SMP N 01 Subah, and 80.44% of SMP N 01 Batang students. On the N-gain scale, the three achievements are considered effective. In fact, the environmental characteristics of the three schools are different. SMP N 02 Bawang is located in a mountainous area, SMP N 01 Subah is located in the northern coastal area, while SMP N 01 Batang is located in an urban area. This raises the meaning that augmented reality has a good impact on increasing anti-corruption knowledge in educational teaching in institutions with different environmental characteristics. This study recommends that these findings can be used as a basis for consideration in determining policies and implementing anti-corruption education in augmented reality technology-based junior high schools.

Abstract

Spirituality is a breakthrough to encourage teacher motivation in increasing the capacity and quality of work. The process of working with spirituality will be able to realize the creativity of teachers in their performance towards quality learning. This study aims to determine the influence between spirituality and teacher creativity on the performance of Akidah Akhlak Madrasah Aliyah teachers in Demak Regency. The research approach used is quantitative research, while the research design used is descriptive with expost facto research type. The research data was obtained using the correlational method by distributing questionnaires to respondents of 165 Akhlak teachers in Madrasah Aliyah in Demak Regency. Based on the results of the questionnaire, teacher spirituality together with teacher creativity affected the performance of Akidah Akhlak teachers in Madrasah Aliyah throughout Demak Regency. From the results of multiple linear regression, it is known that Y = 0.590 x X1 + 0.173 x X2 + 12,012. From the regression line equation above, it can be seen that 0.590 > 0.173 which means that the teacher's spirituality factor which is worth 0.590 is greater than the teacher's creativity value, which is 0.173 so that teacher spirituality is more influential than teacher creativity on teacher performance.Keyword: Teacher Spirituality; Teacher Creativity; Teacher Performance.
