Abstract

Curriculum is change, which change is to answer the challenges of the times, according to the impact of cultural acculturation that is developing. The research in this study is a qualitative study with a document review. The results of this study, that each of the curriculum characteristics want to be changed, there are always weaknesses so that they want to be embroidered and want to be patched, so that the curriculum is more perfect, both from the teaching staff and the outputs produced by educational institutions. In fact, the nature of curriculum changes is in accordance with technological developments. When the curriculum changes, technology changes, but the teaching staff does not change, so the teacher experiences a dilemma. On one hand, teachers are required to teach according to curriculum changes, but on the other hand, students are more knowledgeable in technology than their teachers. The curriculum has changed, but the teaching style of the teacher has not changed, so what the teacher teaches does not match the characteristics of children in the current millineal generation. The curriculum is only capable of releasing a negative culture from the impact of technology, without as a whole.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to reveal the role of TPQ in improving Islamic religious education learning at TPQ Nur Sabilal Muhtadin in Cahaya Hamlet, Pelimpaan Village, Jawai District. The research has three objectives, namely: First, to find out the Islamic religious education material taught in TPQ Nur Sabilal Muhtadin. Second, find out about Islamic religious education learning activities in TPQ Nur Sabilal Muhtadin. Third, knowing the role of teachers in Islamic religious education learning activities. This research is a qualitative descriptive study which aims to find out how TPQ teachers improve PAI learning. The subjects of this research were TPQ teachers and students Nur Sabilal Muhtadin. Data collection tool techniques namely; observation, interview, documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data presentation, verification and drawing conclusions. Then the data validity techniques used are triangulation and member checks. The results of this study are; The Islamic religious education material taught is material about faith, morals, worship, fiqh, the Koran, and Islamic history. Islamic religious education learning activities consist of opening, core and closing activities. The role of the teacher in learning Islamic religious education is as an informator, organizer, motivator, director, initiator, facilitator, transmitter, mediator and evaluator.

Abstract

Tulisan ini mengulas aneka jenis penelitian. Jenis penelitian sangat banyak sekali, baik dari sisi tujuan, pendekatan, dan metode, bahkan banyak lagi peristilahan lainnya. Tulisan ini secara khusus membahas jenis penelitian yang sangat berhubungan dengan penelitian kualitatif dan kuantitatif, penelitian kepustakaan dan lapangan, penelitian ilmu murni dan terapan, penelitian deskriptif, korelatif, dan komparatif. Penelitian ini juga mengulas penelitian kasus dan survei, penelitian historis dan sosiologis, penelitian eksplirasi, eksplanasi, dan evaluasi. Begitu juga penelitian eksperimen, Tindakan, dan research and development (R&D). Penelitian ini termasuk ke dalam kajian literatur (library research) dengan tahapan analisisnya berupa reduksi data, paparan data, dan kesimpulan/verifikasi. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa aneka jenis penelitian tersebut dapat digunakan pada seluruh topik yang dianggap mempunyai permasalahan tertentu sesuai tujuan, manfaat, dan tingkatannya. Artinya, setiap jenis penelitian mempunyai ciri tertentu sesuai topik yang dibahas, tujuannya, manfaat, dan tingkat diskursus yang dibahas. Pada dasarnya seluruh penelitian menuntut adanya kebaharuan (novelty) di dalam ulasannya, baik berupa hasil, implikasi teoretik, dan rekomendasi tertentu.
