Abstract

ABSTRAKAksara sunda merupakan kebudayaan yang hampir terlupakan di kalangan anak-anak ataupun remaja milenial dan generasi Z, belum banyaknya media interaktif yang menjadi trigger dalam belajar aksara, sehingga aksara Sunda kurang diminati, sehingga objek yang diangkat dalam penelitian adalah aksara sunda. Pemanfaatan API Gesture dengan media android dalam aplikasi aksara sunda menjembatani pembelajaran yang interaktif dan komunikatif sehingga menjadi daya tarik bagi pengguna khususnya usia sekolah. Materi pada aplikasi menampilkan sejarah dan filosofi aksara Sunda, aksara ngalagena, rarangken, swara, aksara rekaan, angka, serta evaluasi. Secara keseluruhan menyatakan rata-rata kualitas aplikasi adalah 3.59 point atau sebesar 89.83% yang memenuhi aspek uji kehandalan sebesar 91.67%, uji kebergunaan sebesar  88.33%, uji efisiensi sebesar 90.83%, uji fungsionalitas sebesar 85.25% dan uji umum sebesar 92.50%.Kata Kunci: aksara sunda, API gesture, interaktif, polaABSTRACTThe Sundanese script is a culture that has been almost forgotten among millennial and generation Z children or youth, not many interactive media have become triggers in learning the script, so that the Sundanese script is less attractive, so the object raised in this research is the Sundanese script. Utilization of the Gesture API with Android media in the Sundanese script application bridges interactive and communicative learning so that it becomes an attraction for users, especially school age. The material in the application displays the history and philosophy of the Sundanese script, the ngalagena script, rarangken, swara, fictional script, numbers, and evaluation. Overall stated that the average application quality is 3.59 points or 89.83% which fulfills the reliability test aspect of 91.67%, the usability test is 88.33%, the efficiency test is 90.83%, the functionality test is 85.25% and the general test is 92.50%.Keywords: sundanese script, API gesture, interactive, pattern

Abstract

This research aims to find out when Hajat Bumi Cariu existed, and the procession, benefits, and values contained in it. In the oral tradition of the Cariu community, Hajat Bumi has existed since hundreds of years ago (approximately 500 YA) since the era of Prabu Sirnaraja, king of Samida, Rajadesa son of Prabu Siliwangi IV (Jayadiningrat). Hajat Bumi tradition consists of 1) Pre-Implementation, 2) Implementation and 3) a Closing Meeting after the event is over. In the beginning, the desire for the earth was interpreted as a ritual or a tradition of asking God for salvation. Then, along with the development of the Hajat Bumi period, apart from being a story, it is also a form of gratitude to Almighty God for the abundant harvest, the event is regularly held every two years every Muharram month because in the past that month was when the harvest arrived precisely on the day between Monday or Thursday. The background of the writing of this article is based on the condition of the social crisis of the community that destroys a nation, while in tradition it can be a media to strengthen social bonds between communities so that a society that is compact and cooperates is realized. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The research consists of The research method consists of several stages, namely, the pre-field stage, the work stage in the field, and the analysis stage in the field. The data collection technique used in this research uses observation, interview, and documentation. In this research, the author uses primary data sources and secondary data sources. The results of the research show that the people of Cariu and its surroundings still hold fast to the cultural heritage that has existed for a long time and apply the values that exist in it such as always maintaining the sustainability of nature, always being grateful and praying to the Almighty God, and maintaining cooperation.

Abstract

The existence of the Mupunjung tradition which still exists today is an interesting study material for writers. Mupunjung comes from the word munjung or ngunjung. Mupunjung has many meanings such as "full to beyond capacity", coming, asking, and offering prayers. after the entry of the Islamic religion, the Mupunjung tradition became one of the worship activities, namely pilgrimage and Tawasulan. The event is held once a year every Wednesday or Thursday in the month of Ruwah. The research method used is a qualitative method with an ethnographic approach. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews, and document studies. This research uses primary and secondary data sources. Primary data sources were obtained from observations and interviews, while secondary data sources were obtained from supporting documents in the form of photographs and research reports with the same research subject. The results showed that the Mupunjung procession was: (1) preparation, and (2) implementation which consisted of opening, greeting, prayer/tawasul and botram (meal together). The people of Dusun Ciilat always work together and support one another in carrying it out.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the archaeological remains of the Cariu Site in Sukadana District, Ciamis Regency which has the potential as a historical and cultural educational tourist attraction. Data was collected through observation and interview techniques that utilized field notes and an interview guide in the form of a list of questions for informants. Data analysis was carried out by triangulation through techniques of comparing, looking at sequences, and simultaneously examining cause-and-effect relationships. Based on the results of observations, it can be concluded that the Cariu Site which consists of the Mount Cariu area, the Cariu Girang Tomb, the Cariu Hilir Tomb, the Paneresan area, and the Pasir Pantun area has archaeological and historical remains in the form of cultural objects and historical texts. These remains are cross-sectional in nature and have educational, recreational, and economic values, so they are appropriate to be developed as educational tourism objects. The use of the Cariu site as an educational tourist attraction can not only provide economic value to the community and the government but also preserve the site as a cultural heritage in accordance with archaeological and historical concepts.
