Abstract

The effects of the disease on the body will cause pain. Pain experienced by hospitalized patients have pain intensity vary. Pain is the most common reason people seek medical care. Pain can be a major factor that hinders the ability and willingness of individuals to recover from an illness. Pain management with non-pharmacological means should be applied. But the ground reality of clients who complained of pain immediately given analgesics and ignore the non farmakolagi Qur'an as therapy. Yet what is important to note that in addition to drug delivery is mentally and emotionally clients. This study aims to find out is there any "Qur'an therapeutic effect to changes in pain intensity in hospitalized patients." This research is to design pre ekspeimental experiment (pre-experimental design) by using a one group pre-test and post-test took place in hospitals Kalisat Jember. The sampling method with a total sampling with 61 respondents. Test analysis in this study is the Wilcoxon matched pairs test and Friedman with SPSS version 12 mengngunakan. Research suggests that there are differences obtained pain scale before therapy after Qur'an therapy. Treatment Qur'an therapy in hospitalized patients between 1st day, 2nd day and 3rd day had a significant influence in the amount based on the value of significance 0.000 where sig <0.05.

Abstract

Research Objectives: This study aims to identify the effect of spiritual care on the risk behavior of street children in Jember Regency. Method: The research method used was a quasi-experimental approach to the pre-post test design using a risk behavior questionnaire, conducted on 30 street children. Data analysis was carried out univariately and bivariately. Results: The results showed a mean score of changes in risk behavior in street children. Wilcoxon matched pairs test results obtained Z count -4,802> t and asymp sig. (2-tailed) 0,000 <α = 0.05, so it can be concluded that the implementation of spiritual care significantly influences changes in risk behavior in street children. Conclusion: the implementation of nursing care with a spiritual care approach effectively prevents risky behavior in street children, so this program is recommended to be applied to street children as part of the street children's empowerment program.

Abstract

Early detection related to classification or activities to obtain information about pregnant women is very helpful in preparing for the control of the risk of pregnancy complications. Although the occurrence of preeclampsia cannot be completely prevented, its frequency can be reduced by making early detection. Non-compliance of pregnant women in antenatal care can cause various pregnancy complications not to be known so that they are not immediately addressed, so a health promotion strategy is needed with community empowerment efforts in this case is primigravida mothers. This allows the community and health workers to take adequate care and succeed in reducing maternal mortality.This study aims to analyze the empowerment of primigravida mothers for early detection of preeclampsia in Jember Regency. The research method used was Quasi Experimental Design with Pre-Post Test Control Group Design. The sample in this study was taken probability / random by cluster random sampling technique. The analysis is done univariately and bivariately.The results showed the average score of behavior change in the intervention group and the control group. In the Mann Whitney test results obtained p-value <0.05 so it can be concluded that the empowerment of primigravida mother programs significantly influence behavioral changes in early detection of preeclampsia. Primigravida mother empowerment program is effective in increasing pre-eclampsia early detection behavior so that this program is suggested to be applied to pregnant women as part of maternal and child health programs.

Abstract

Excessive use of internet access causes adolescent smartphone addiction. The reinforcing factor in the behavior of smartphone usage is inseparable from parent and peer roles. The purpose of this study was to analyze the reinforcing factors associated with smartphone addiction in adolescent with the Precede-Proceed Model approach. This research method used observational analytic: cross sectional approach. This research was conducted at Stikes dr. Soebandi Jember. The sample of this study were 51 adolescents using multistage random sampling. The independent variable is parent role and peer role. The dependent variable is smartphone addiction. The results of this study found that there was a significant relationship between parent role with addiction of smartphone usage with p value <α (0.01 <0.05). There is a significant relationship between the peer role with addiction of smartphone usage with p value <α (0,000 <0.05). Adolescents who have a poor parental role have smartphone addiction. Adolescents who have a poor peer role also cause smartphone addiction. Excessive use of smartphone should be minimized by adolescents. Parents should pay more attention to the smartphone usage in their children. Parents should also play a role in limiting smartphone usage. Peers should also provide a good environment related to the wise use of smartphone in adolescents and present themselves as real friends for tadolescent
