Abstract

The study aims to determined the interaction of liquid organic fertilizer and bioactive compost charcoal on peanut plants and to determined the effect of liquid organic fertilizer application on peanut plants and the effect of added bioactive compost charcoal on peanut plants. The research was conducted in Nagari Pasilihan, X Koto Diatas District, Solok Regency in March to June 2021. The design used was the Random Block Design of Factorial (RBDF), the treatment was arranged by a factorial 4 x 3 (12 combination treatments) in 3 repeats. The main factors are the dose of liquid organic fertilizer (A) namely: dose 0 ml / liter (A1), dose 4 ml / liter (A2), dose 6 ml / liter (A3) and dose 8 ml / liter (A4). The second factor is the dose of bioactive compost charcoal (M) which is: dose 100g (M1), dose 200g (M2) and dose 300g (M3). The data was analyzed statistically, and the Duncan New Multiple Range test (DNMRT) is carried out if obtained F calculates the > F table at a real level of 5%. The parameters observed was the height of the plant, the number of flowers, the number of pithy pods, the number of broken pods, the weight of the ground pods and the weight of 100 seeds. The treatment of super bionic POC and bioactive compost charcoal has no effect on crop height, number of damaged pods, weight of pods per crop and yield per hectare (ton/ha). But the interaction of treatment affects the number of flowers, the number of pithy pods and the weight of 100 seeds.

Abstract

Research on the Effect of Pulp Washing on Seeds and Duration of Soaking Seeds in Young Coconut Water on the Growth of Cacao Seeds (Theobroma cacao L.), has been carried out in Jorong Panta Nagari Koto Gadang Koto Anau Lembang Jaya District Solok Regency with an altitude of ±1000 Mdpl. This study aimed to obtain the best results on the growth of cacao seedlings and to obtain the interaction of pulp washing material and the duration of immersion of seeds in young coconut water on the growth of cacao seedlings. The method used was Factorial Randomized Block Design (RAKF) for factor I washing the pulp of the seeds, namely P1=Rub ash and P2=Sawdust. Faktor II immersion time of coconut water W0=Without soaking, W1=3, W2=5, W3=7, W4=9. Parameters observed were seed germination (%), germination rate (days), plant height (cm), number of leaves (strands), leaf width (cm), leaf length (cm), stem diameter (mm), root length primary (cm). the result showed that different pulp washing materials showed a significant effect on leaf width and primary root length. The duration of soaking the seeds in different young coconut water also showed a significanteffect on plant height and leaf width and there was a significant interaction on leaf width and leaf length. The best treatment was found in the ash washing material and the best seed soaking time was 7 hours

Abstract

Shallots (Allium cepa) are one of the most important horticultural commodities in Indonesia. The need for shallots continues to increase, but the productivity of shallots does not increase. The purpose of this study was to determine the appropriate cutting height of shallot bulbs, to determine the appropriate concentration of atonic immersion and to determine the interaction of the two on the growth and yield of shallots (Allium cepa). This research was conducted in a paddy field located in Jorong Parumahan, Nagari Paninggahan, Junjung Sirih District, Solok Regency from March to June 2021. This study used a factorial randomized block design (RAKF) with 2 factors, namely the 1st factor cutting tubers with 3 level: M1 (without cutting), M2 (cutting 1/4 part), M3 (cutting 1/3 part), 2nd factor with 4 levels: A1 (without soaking), A2 (soaking 1.0 ml/l) , A3 (2.0 ml/l immersion), A4 (3.0 ml/l immersion). Parameters observed were the emergence of the first shoots, plant height, number of leaves, number of tillers, age of harvest, number of tubers/clump, weight of tuber/clump, production weight/ha. The results showed that there was no interaction between cutting and soaking at several atonic concentrations, nor a significant effect on both, but the best treatment on A3M3 (cutting tubers 1/3 part and soaking 3.0 ml/l) had a good effect on: the appearance of the first shoots is 7.16 (days), plant height is 24.07 (cm), the number of leaves is 13.5 (strands), the number of tillers is 13.05 (fruit), tuber weight / clump is 16.68 (grams) , and the production weight / ha is 3.82 (tons).
