Abstract

The competition of working world in the industrial revolution era 4.0 requires many countries to improve themselves in producing the quality of human resources. Therefore, vocational education institutions as producers of workforce that ready to work have to produce the top notch output. This demand have to be immediately reflected and implemented in formal education and training programs. By the existence of laboratory, students are able to do anything to learn and practice their skills due to the characteristics of vocational education are more underlined in the development of learners' psychomotor aspects. Hence, the existence of laboratory has a crucial role for vocational education in order to enhance the quality of vocational education thus the improvement of vocational program quality for final graduates are achieved greatly.

Abstract

This study aims to developed a flipbook-based e-module in Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) course, because e-modules are considered to have the advantage of being innovative, displaying complete teaching materials, interesting, interactive, and being able to carry out the cognitive functions of students well. The e-module development stage adapted the modified Dick & Carey model into four stages, namely (1) needs analysis, (2) product design, (3) validation and evaluation, and (4) product revision. Based on the development results obtained the following data; (1) the lecturer assessment of the e-module showed that the product has "very good" criteria with a percentage of 92,05%, so that the e-module can be used in learning, (2) the results of small group trials indicate that the product has "very good" criteria with a percentage of 93,59%, so that the e-module can be used in learning, and (3) the results of field trials showed that the product has "good" criteria with a percentage of 81,92%, so that e-modules can be used in learning, but still needs improvement.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh penggunaan model pembelajaran TWI  terhadap  kompetensi  siswa  Sekolah  Menengah Kejuruan  (SMK).  Penelitian  ini tergolong penelitian pre-eksperimental dengan rancangan one group pretest-postest. Analisis data  menggunakan  statistik  nonparametrik  yaitu  uji  Mann  Whitney,  dikarenakan  tidak terpenuhinya uji asumsi. Perhitungan skor n-gain digunakan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kompetensi  siswa  setelah  proses  perlakuan.  Hasil  penelitian  ini  mennyimpulkan  adanya pengaruh  model pembelajaran  TWI  terhadap  pencapaian  kompetensi  siswa,  dan  diperoleh rata-rata skor n-gain sebesar 0,3 (30%). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa peningkatan kompetensi siswa  sebelum  dan  sesudah  perlakuan  model  pembelajaran  TWI  termasuk  dalam  kategori sedang.

Abstract

This study aims to assess the empirical findings on the effect of the learning model (Project Based Learning and Training Within Industry), and the initial ability, both individually or interaction towards learning outcomes such as knowledge, skills and attitudes in Mechanical Machining Milling subjects. This quasi-experimental research using non-equivalent control group design version 2 x 2 factorial. Study subject involving 59 students of class XI Mechanical Machining. Data obtained with the test and non-test, then analyzed with a statistical technique MANOVA. In broad outline the results of this study indicate that the learning outcomes of knowledge can be improved if teachers apply PjBL to students who have high initial ability, skills can be improved if teachers apply PjBL and TWI model to students who have high initial ability, attitude can be improved if teachers apply both learning models, either PjBL or TWI to students who have high and low initial ability.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji temuan empirik tentang pengaruh model pembelajaran (Project Based Learning dan Training Within Industry), serta kemampuan awal, baik secara individu maupun secara interaksi terhadap hasil belajar pengetahuan, keterampilan dan sikap pada mata pelajaran Teknik Pemesinan Frais. Penelitian eksperimen semu ini menggunakan desain non-equivalent control group versi faktorial 2 x 2. Subjek penelitian melibatkan 59 siswa Kelas XI Teknik Permesinan. Data diperoleh dengan tes dan non-tes, kemudian dianalisis dengan teknik statistik MANOVA. Secara garis besar, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar pengetahuan dapat ditingkatkan jika guru menerapkan model PjBL kepada siswa yang memiliki kemampuan awal tinggi, hasil belajar keterampilan dapat ditingkatkan jika guru menerapkan model PjBL maupun model TWI kepada siswa yang memiliki kemampuan awal tinggi, hasil belajar sikap dapat ditingkatkan jika guru menerapkan kedua model pembelajaran, baik PjBL maupun TWI kepada siswa yang memiliki kemampuan awal tinggi dan rendah.

Abstract

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the user's response to e-module based on android products to facilitate learning process. Likert scale with four variations of the answer was the scale used in this study. Research data were analyzed by quantitative descriptive. The result of the research showed that e-module based on android products have met the eligibility criteria with the category "very good" so it is worth to use. The data of the research showed that User’s response to e-module in this case teachers and students obtained “very good” category with the feasibility percentage of each are 84.38% and 81.67%.

Abstract

One of the effort to overcome the ineffectiveness of face-to-face learning is to extend the interaction outside the classroom framework. In this case, advances in information technology can be utilized. The use of technology that functions like classroom face-to-face is through online learning. This study aims to find out: (1) student perceptions of online learning (a Moodle platform); and (2) the effect of student perceptions of online learning on the learning outcomes of Vocational Theory course. The research object was 117 students. The data analysis being used were descriptive statistics and Kendall's tau. The results of the study indicate that online learning is an excellent medium to complement face-to-face learning. The contribution of the perception of learning outcomes found in this study is only 1.70%. It can be said that 98.0% of learning outcomes are determined by other factorsUpaya yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengatasi masalah ketidak efektifan pembelajaran tatap muka adalah dengan membuat ekstensi berinteraksi di luar kelas. Dalam hal ini, kemajuan teknologi informasi dapat dimanfaatkan. Penggunaan teknologi informasi yang memiliki fungsi seperti layaknya tatap muka dalam kelas tersedia melalui pembelajaran online. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) persepsi mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran online (plat form Moodle); dan (2) pengaruh persepsi mahasiswa pada pembelajaran online terhadap hasil belajar Teori Kejuruan. Objek penelitian berjumlah 117 orang mahasiswa. Teknik analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan Kendall's tau. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran online merupakan media yang sangat baik untuk melengkapi pembelajaran tatap muka. Besarnya nilai kontribusi persepsi terhadap hasil belajar yang ditemukan dalam penelitian ini hanya 1,70%, atau 98,30% hasil belajar ditentukan oleh faktor lain.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh variasi temperatur tempering pada temperatur 2500C, 3500C, dan 5000C dengan holding time 30 menit menggunakan pendinginan udara terhadap kekuatan tarik, kekerasan dan struktur mikro pada pengelasan baja St.60. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kuantitatif. Sedangkan desain penelitiannya adalah penelitian eksperimental yang dilakukan di laboratorium. Objek penelitian ini adalah baja karbon menengah St.60 yang kemudian diberi perlakuan yakni pengelasan kemudian tempering dengan variasi temperatur.Hasil penelitian rata-rata kekuatan tarik tertinggi diperoleh pada temperatur tempering 5000C sebesar 680,495 MPa, pada temperatur 3500C sebesar 666,016 MPa, dan kekuatan tarik terendah diperoleh pada temperatur tempering 2500C sebesar 641,626 MPa. Sedangkan kekerasan tertinggi diperoleh pada temperatur tempering 5000C sebesar 284,87 Hv, pada temperatur 3500C sebesar 267,63 Hv, dan kekerasan terendah diperoleh pada temperatur tempering 2500C sebesar 259,111 Hv. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan nilai kekuatan tarik dan kekerasan pada baja St.60 antara sebelum dan setelah mengalami proses tempering dengan variasi temperatur sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa vaiasi temperatur tempering berpengaruh terhadap tingkat kekuatan tarik dan kekerasan pada pengelasan baja St.60. Tingkat kekuatan tarik dan kekerasan baja akan meningkat seiring bertambahnya temperature tempering pada pengelasan baja St.60.

Abstract

Mitra dalam program pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah bengkel “Nurdy Motor”. Bengkel motor ini dijalankan oleh pemilik dan tiga orang karyawan. Berdasarkan observasi awal dan analisis situasi, ditemukan beberapa permasalahan yang menjadi prioritas untuk diselesaikan yaitu tentang; (1) kurangnya pemahaman tentang ergonomi kerja yang berkaitan dengan penggunaan special service tool dalam membantu aktivitas kerja perbengkelan, dan (2) kurangnya pemahaman terhadap pengelolaam bengkel. Oleh karena itu, kegiatan pengabdian ini bertujuan untuk berbagi ilmu pengetahuan pada pekerja bengkel motor tentang pengelolaan fasilitas bengkel melaui penerapan prinsip 5R. Dari hasil kegiatan diketahui bahwa mitra telah memperoleh wawasan baru tentang pengelolaan begkel. Selain itu, peserta juga diberikan tambahan peralatan bengkel berupa rak alat, toolbox, dan kunci ring pas 1 set. Hal ini bertujuan agar proses transfer ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi oleh tim PKM dapat didemonstrasikan secara langsung dan dapat diterapkan secara berkelanjutan.
