<![CDATA[ABSTRACT This study aims to determine the activity and learning outcomes of the Q.S. Al-Hujurat: 10 and 12 students of class X IPA.3 SMA Negeri 2 Jayapura through the Discovery learning model. The research method used is descriptive qualitative to obtain data and analysis through observation, reflection, participation, and collaboration studies, development is based on data and information from students, which is set through two stages of the classroom action research cycle. The results showed that the activeness of students in learning increased, which was in the first cycle of the first meeting the level of activity was 40.14%, then increased again at the second meeting to 46.14%. In the second cycle the activity increased according to the target, where at the first meeting it became 76.57% and the second meeting became 88%. In addition, before the study the average value of Islamic religious education subjects in class X IPA 3 SMA Negeri 2 Jayapura was still below the KKM average of 57.30, then the average value of the first cycle became 72.31 and the second cycle became 82, 63. This indicates that the activeness of students in learning is very important for increasing learning outcomes, so that it can arise in students to be the best in the class. Keywords: Student Activity, Learning Outcomes, Discovery Learning ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keaktifan dan hasil belajar materi Q.S. Al-Hujurat: 10 dan 12 siswa kelas X IPA.3 SMA Negeri 2 Jayapura melalui model Discovery learning. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif untuk mendapatkan data dan analisa melalui kajian pengamatan, refleksi, partisipasi, dan kolaborasi, pengembangan didasarkan pada data dan informasi dari siswa, yang disetting melalui dua tahapan siklus penelitian tindakan dalam kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keaktifan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran meningkat, yang tadinya pada siklus I pertemuan pertama tingkat keaktifan 40,14 %, kemudian meningkat lagi pada pertemuan 2 menjadi 46,14 %. Pada siklus II keaktifannya meningkat sesuai target, di mana pada pertemuan 1 menjadi 76,57 % dan pertemuan 2 menjadi 88 %. Selain itu, sebelum penelitian nilai rata-rata mata pelajaran pendidikan agama islam kelas X IPA 3 SMA Negeri 2 Jayapura masih berada dibawah KKM rata-rata 57,30, kemudian nilai rata-rata siklus I menjadi 72,31 dan siklus II menjadi 82,63. Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa keaktifan peserta didik dalam pembelajaran sangatlah penting bagi meningkatnya hasil belajar, sehingga dapat timbul dalam diri peserta didik agar menjadi yang terbaik di dalam kelas.
