Abstract

Internet network technology has become a human need in almost every activity. Communities in areas experiencing a lack of fiber optic network infrastructure need a tool to access the internet that can be used together in an affordable and efficient manner. This study tries to provide a solution to these problems. Raspberry Pi-based Wireless Access Point uses a USB modem which functions to build a Wireless Local Area Network. Then, a network quality test is carried out by calculating QoS on network traffic including packet loss, throughput and latency with scenarios based on a distance of 0 meter, 4 meter and 8 meter between the Wireless Access Point and the client by conducting online meetings and video streaming. Furthermore, to make it easier to monitor the Raspberry Pi device that acts as a Wireless Access Point, it will send user information that is connected via the Telegram bot.

Abstract

Abstract – A server room is a room used to store applications, data and network devices such as routers. The server room is the data center of a company or institution in which there are applications and databases that store all important and valuable information for the company or institution concerned, therefore the server room must always be in good temperature conditions because the devices work for 24 hours no stopping. If there is a significant increase in temperature, it can cause system performance to be disrupted or hardware damage occurs. The cooler in the server room is not optimal because the cooler is often constrained by frequent power outages. From these problems, a solution is needed to be able to monitor the system remotely so that changes in room temperature can be seen in real time. The Internet of Things (IoT) is the solution to this problem, by using LoRa, which then sends the data to the Telegram application that has been installed on the smartphone so that real-time temperature changes can be obtained

Abstract

The increasingly massive use of digital technology requires that the application architecture be designed to have high availability and reliability. This is because when an application cannot be accessed, it will cause no small loss to the organization. Therefore, the development and operation teams must be able to detect when their system is not working well. For that, we need a system that can monitor application performance. In this research, a system is developed to collect telemetry data, namely metrics and traces from an online donation backend application based on the REST API. OpenTelemetry produces telemetry as an open-source telemetry instrumentation tool. Then the telemetry data is collected by the OpenTelemetry Collector which is then stored on the backend of each telemetry. Metrics are sent to Prometheus and traces are sent to Jaeger. The data metrics collected are throughput, request latency, and error rate which are visualized using the Grafana dashboard. The test results show that the monitoring system can collect real-time metrics data with an average delay of 13,8 seconds. The system can also detect when an anomaly occurs in the app and sends notifications via Slack. In addition, the trace data collected can be used to simplify the debugging process when an error occurs in the application. However, the implementation of OpenTelemetry in a REST API-based backend application to monitor metrics and traces has a negative impact on the performance of the application itself, which can reduce the number of request throughput with an average decrease of 23.32% and increase request latency with an average increase of 22.80%.

Abstract

With the current technological developments, the need for monitoring in cold chain logistics as well as the problem of limitations on IoT devices such as data storage and computing capabilities can be handled with the help of cloud technology. Cloud has a concept called serverless. In this study, researchers tried to examine serverless services that can be integrated with IoT devices. The IoT devices used consist of nodes and gateways. In this final project research, testing and analysis of gateway devices and serverless architecture are carried out. NodeMCU which is part of the gateway device and AWS IoT as a serverless service will be integrated in this research. The serverless architecture system that was built also has a function to store data and send notifications to the user. Meanwhile, data monitoring will be carried out through Grafana. The results of AWS IoT performance testing when integrated with IoT gateway devices through QoS testing according to the TIPHON standard are categorized as satisfactory and the implemented system functions as expected.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology, especially in this digital era, demands communication takes place quickly and the management of network connectivity efficiently and effectively. In line with this, PT Indonesia Comnets Plus have built the Metro Ethernet network which is an ethernet network technology implemented in a metropolitan area (big cities). The company provides an internet network due to providing the best quality network is compulsory. Hence, we need a Metro Ethernet network monitoring system with the aim of being able to know the performance and problems efficiently and in real time. One of the open source based applications used for network monitoring is Zabbix. This study aims to create and test the performance of Raspberry Pi in the Metro Ethernet network monitoring system at PT Indonesia Comnets Plus with the case study of DISKOMINFO in Garut Regency using the Zabbix application. In monitoring, the SNMP (Simple Network Monitoring Protocol) protocol is needed which will send network problems in the form of triggers. Trigger will evaluate the data collected and represent the current state of the system. Trigger contains two statuses, "OK" and "PROBLEM", to determine the threshold for what is "acceptable" data. Therefore, if the incoming data exceeds an acceptable state, the trigger status changes to "PROBLEM", the trigger status is recalculated every time the Zabbix server receives a new value. Zabbix server will send trigger status to electronic mail (e-mail) and Telegram application as notification for network administrators.

Abstract

Home security is a mandatory requirement for every homeowner. With home security, homeowners will always feel safe leaving the house for a long time. In this final project, the author made a smart door with its main components are the HC-SR04 ultrasonic sensor and web camera. The function of the ultrasonic sensor and webcam is to detect a movement in the area around the access of people. In this system, not only can it detect movement, but also send notifications in the form of text and videos through the Telegram application so that homeowners can find out if someone tries to enter the house even though the owner of the house is away from his house. The author also adds dual security in the form of a remote control system, where when the homeowner knows of theft, the homeowner simply sends a "close" message through the Telegram application, so the door automatically locks and keeps the thief for a while until the homeowner arrives at location. This remote control system can also be used when the homeowner forgets to lock the door so that when the owner of the house is away from home, he simply controls the door through the telegram application.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas pengaruh E-learning berbasis Google Classroom terhadap beban kognitif yang diterima siswa yaitu Extraneous Cognitive Load (ECL) siswa SMAN 1 Kampar dalam bentuk penelitian kuantitatif. Intrumen penelitian ini menggunakan kuisioner dan wawancara. Kuisioner disebarkan kepada 71 siswa SMAN 1 Kampar dan 1 orang guru mata pelajaran biologi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel penggunaan media pembelajaran E-learning berbasis Google Classroom pada siswa SMAN 1 Kampar yaitu sebesar 76,73 yang masuk dalam kategori baik. Variabel Variabel Extraneous Cognitive Load (ECL) pada siswa SMAN 1 Kampar Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021 yaitu sebesar 37,99% yang masuk dalam kategori rendah. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan yang telah dilakukan ditemukan bahwa nilai signifikan sig. (2-tailed) antara Penggunaan Media Pembelajaran E-learning Berbasis Google Classroom (X) terhadap Extraneous Cognitive Load (ECL) Siswa (Y) adalah sebesar 0,25 > 0,05. Selanjutnya perbandingan diketahui nilai rhitung adalah sebesar -0,138 < rtabel 0,235. Karena rhitung atau pearson correlations dalam analisis ini bernilai negatif maka itu artinya hubungan antara kedua variabel tersebut bersifat berbanding terbalik atau berlawanan, artinya semakin besar nilai penggunaan media pembelajaran E-learning berbasis Google Classroom maka semakin rendah nilai Extraneous Cognitive Load (ECL) Siswa Kelas XI MIPA SMAN 1 Kampar Tahun Ajaran 2020/2021. Efektifitas Google Classroom dalam kegiatan belajar jarak jauh dapat mengurangi beban siswa dalam memahami materi pelajaran Biologi. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa semakin meningkatnya penggunaan Google Classroom sebagai media pembelajaran jarak jauh dapat mengurangi beban Extraneous Cognitive Load.Abstract:  This research aims to determine the use of Google Classroom-based E-learning learning media on Extraneous Cognitive Load (ECL) students of class XI MIPA SMAN 1 Kampar for the academic year 2020/2021 in the form of quantitative research. The instrument of this research used questionnaires and interviews. Questionnaires were distributed to 71 students of class XI MIPA SMAN 1 Kampar and 1 teacher of biology. The results showed that the variable of using Google Classroom-based E-learning learning media in class XI MIPA SMAN 1 Kampar for the 2020/2021 academic year was 76.73 which was in the good category. Extraneous Cognitive Load (ECL) variable in class XI MIPA SMAN 1 Kampar Academic Year 2020/2021 concluded that the Extraneous Cognitive Load (ECL) variable in class XI MIPA SMAN 1 Kampar Academic Year 2020/2021 was 37.99% who entered in the low category. Based on the results of the calculations that have been carried out it was found that the significant value of sig. (2-tailed) between the use of Google Classroom-Based E-learning Learning Media (X) and Students' Extraneous Cognitive Load (ECL) (Y) is 0.25 > 0.05. Furthermore, the comparison is known that the value of rcount is -0.138 < rtable 0.235. Because the rcount or pearson correlations in this analysis are negative, it means that the relationship between the two variables is inversely or oppositely proportional, meaning that the greater the value of using Google Classroom-Based E-learning Learning Media, the lower the Extraneous Cognitive Load (ECL) value for Class XI students. MIPA SMAN 1 Kampar Academic Year 2020/2021. Effectiveness of Google Classroom in distance learning activities can reduce the burden on students in understanding Biology subject matter. This shows that the increasing use of Google Classroom as a distance learning medium can reduce the Extraneous Cognitive Load.
