Abstract

In inter-religious relations there are various ways and steps to promote peace. One way is through audio-visual media in the form of films. The Bajrangi Bhaijaan film, a Bollywood production, has many messages that are closely related to the values that carry a message of peace between religious communities. This article attempts to represent how a good deed can be done regardless of religious background. In particular, this article describes the various behaviors of religious people, in this case Islam and Hinduism, which are represented through the roles played by the characters in the film. The method used in this article is a qualitative-descriptive method using Charles Sanders Pierce's semiotic analysis. The article argues that the various attitudes displayed through the characters played in the film about the relationship between Muslims and Hindus in India and with neighboring countries, namely Pakistan, can be an illustration for religious people to live side by side in harmony.

Abstract

In the current era of globalization, socioeconomic changes have become increasingly complex and rapid. These changes often result in inequality and disparities that affect access to education. This study aims to analyze the dynamics of social change and its implications on community education from a global perspective. Adopting a qualitative approach through literature review, this research explores community engagement practices in education, focusing on socioeconomic aspects that influence communities. Data were collected from Google Scholar spanning the years 2005-2024. The findings indicate that the dynamics of socioeconomic changes are a complex phenomenon with wide-ranging and diverse impacts on community education worldwide. These changes encompass not only economic aspects such as GDP growth and unemployment rates but also involve social aspects like family structure, cultural values, and political dynamics. Furthermore, socioeconomic changes are influenced by global factors such as international trade, migration, and technological innovation.

Abstract

21st century graduates are expected to have character competence, empathy and problem-solving abilities. However, current education does not fully support this. This research found that integrating sociopreneurship principles in the curriculum can increase student creativity and participation in problem solving. This research uses secondary data analysis, primary data, and field studies to evaluate the implementation of sociopreneurship in education. This research aims to reveal the relationship between sociopreneurship, ethical principles, creativity, social responsibility in education. The methodology includes primary and secondary data analysis as well as field studies. Data was collected through interviews, surveys, document analysis, then analyzed using a qualitative approach. The results show that sociopreneurship integration increases students' creativity and active participation. In conclusion, cross-sector collaboration is essential to community-based learning experiences. ABSTRAKLulusan abad ke-21 diharapkan memiliki komptensi karakter, empati dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah. Namun, pendidikan saat ini belum sepenuhnya mendukung hal tersebut. Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa integrasi prinsip sociopreneurship dalam kurikulum dapat meningkatkan kreativitas dan partisipasi siswa dalam pemecahan masalah. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data sekunder, data primer, dan studi lapangan untuk mengevaluasi implementasi sociopreneurship dalam pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap hubungan antara sociopreneurship, prinsip etis, kreativitas, tanggung jawab sosial dalam pendidikan. Metodologi meliputi analisis data primer dan sekunder serta studi lapangan. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, survei, analisis dokumen, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa integrasi sociopreneurship meningkatkan kreativitas dan partisipapsi aktif siswa. Kesimpulannya, kolaborasi lintas sektor penting untuk pengalaman pembelajaran berbasis masyarakat.
