<![CDATA[ABSTRAK Di Indonesia penyakit asma masuk dalam sepuluh besar penyebab kesakitan dan kematian, prevalensi asma di Indonesia mencapai 2,4% dari seluruh penduduk Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui rasionlitas dan efektivitas pada pasien asma rawat inap yang dilakukan dengan menggunan metode total sampling. Rasionalitas penggunaan obat pada pasien asma rawat inap di RSUD Kota Madiun menunjukkan ketepatan pasien 31 (100%). Rasionalitas penggunaan obat pada pasien rawat inap di RSUD Kota Madiun menunjuukan ketepatan dosis sebanyak 30 pasien, dan ketidak tepatan dosis sebanyak 1 pasien. Efektivitas penggunaan obat pada pasien rawat inap di RSUD Kota Madiun menunjukkan keefektivitasan sebanyak 30 pasien, dan ketidakefektivitasan sebanyak 1 pasien. Hubungan antara rasionalitas dengan efektivitas dengan nilai korelasinya 1,000 menunjukkan termasuk dalam kategori hubungan yang sempurna.
