Abstract

This research aims to analyze the level of  income disparity of oil palm farmers in Sei Jawi-Jawi Village, Panai Hulu District, Labuhan Batu Regency. This research was conducted from April to May 2021. The data used in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data is obtained by direct interview to 38 respondents using  questionnaires. secondary data obtained from government agencies, or institutions related to this research. The research is carried out by using surveys method and data analysis used to calculate the level of  income disparity of farmers was the Gini Ratio and World Bank. The research result showed  that the level of income disparity of oil palm farmers, based on Gini Ratio, was 0.32 and 0,28, which was in low category.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the added value of peanuts processing into rondam peanuts at rondam peanuts business UD. Mars in Pardomuan I Village, Pangururan District, Samosir Regency. This research was conducted from April to June 2021. The data used in this study were primary data and secondary data. Primary data obtained through direct interviews with (one respondent), namely the owner of the rondam peanuts business UD. Mars by using a questionnaire containing written questions, while secondary data was obtained from the BPS of North Sumatra Province, journals and theses that have a relationship with this research. The data analysis method used in this study is value added analysis using Hayami calculations. The results showed that the added value of UD.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to anaylyze the income of red onion farming in Mopusi Village Lolayan Sub District of Bolaang Mongondow Regency. The Research started in November 2020 until January 2021. The primary data for this study was collected from direct interview with the red onion farmers using quistioner. The secondary data was obtained from Village Ofice of Mopusi and also from the internet. The Sampling was made with Census because there are only two red onion farmers. The research result showed that the red onion farming is profitable for the farmer because the income as per hectare that was received by the farmers in Mopusi Village Lolayan District as big as Rp. 195.265.361 in one growing season with R/C ratio 3,06.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the income of corn farming farmers, the risks faced by corn farming farmers, and how much risk is faced by farmers. The research was conducted in Lompad Baru Village, Ranoyapo District, South Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted from April to August 2022. The selection of respondents was intentional. Primary data is data obtained directly from the field through interviews using a questionnaire to each corn farming farmer. Secondary data, namely data obtained through related agencies such as the field agricultural extension office in Ranoyapo District and the Lompad Baru Village office. The results showed that the total income earned by all corn farming farmers was IDR14,200,000 with an average income earned by corn farming farmers amounting to IDR1,420,000. The risks of corn farming in the study area are production risks originating from disturbances of plant-disturbing organisms (pests, diseases and weeds), erratic weather/climate (long dry spells) and minimal availability of subsidized seeds; price/market risk stems from high corn fertilizer prices and high pesticide prices; institutional risk; human risk; financial risk. The level of income risk faced by corn farming farmers is low with a coefficient of variation (KV) of 0.56.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the management of Pakakaan Agropolitan Area, Minahasa Regency. This research was conducted in the Pakakaan Agropolitan Area, Minahasa Regency from July to August 2022. The data used in this research are primary and secondary data. Primary data were obtained through interviews with the head of BAPPEDA, the Public Works Office, the Minahasa Regency Agriculture Office and observation. Secondary data obtained from the Minahasa Central Bureau of Statistics. The variables measured in this study are superior commodities and supporting facilities and infrastructure. The data analysis method used is descriptive analysis. The results showed that the total production of leading commodities in the Pakakaan Agropolitan Area continued to increase even during the Covid-19 pandemic, and the Pakakaan Agropolitan Area had infrastructure facilities that could support agriculture, there was a network of connecting roads between villages, cities, business roads for farmers and there was a network irrigation but the management and maintenance did not go well due to the Covid-19 pandemic which caused a diversion of the budget to the Health Service.
