Abstract

The success of the national development of a nation is determined by the availability of quality Human Resources (HR), namely human resources which include physically tough, mentally strong and excellent health, as well as mastery of science and technology. Human resources, including in this case, the workforce must be maintained and their health level improved so that they can live a more productive life. (RI Ministry of Health, 2013: 2). MOH RI (2015: 15) Accidents occur due to lack of awareness of the workforce and inadequate quality and skills of the workforce. Many workers at work underestimate work risks, so they don't use personal protective equipment even though it has been provided by the company. According to the ILO (1999: 15) Work accident is an event that is unexpected and unwanted from the start which disrupts the process of predetermined activities and can result in loss of both lives and property. From the definition of an accident above, it can be concluded that a work accident is an unexpected event and can result in losses either directly or indirectly and interfere with the productivity and work processes of the workforce. After conducting research and statistical tests, the authors finally concluded that there was no relationship between education level and Unsafe Actions at Work in the palm oil production section at PTPN VI (Persero) Rimbo Dua Business Unit, Tebo District in 2019.

Abstract

PT. Agrindo Indah Perkasa located in the new mining village of Meranginyang Regency produces CPO so far in controlling the supply of its main raw material, namely FFB, which only receives from farmers around because PT. AIP does not yet have its own garden. So that the efficiency of ordering costs and storage costs for raw materials are not optimal. This research was conducted to find out the raw material inventory control system applied by the company, the efficiency of inventory control of raw materials obtained, the analysis of Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) and the extent to which the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method can streamline the cost of controlling raw material inventories. is a descriptive method and method of verification method. Based on the results of the study using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, the number of orders that are economical is 303 tons / month, with the order frequency of 14 times / month. The point of re-ordering was done when the supply of fuel was 1357 tons. The total cost of inventory using company calculations of Rp. 66,300,000, while using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method the company only issues a total inventory cost of Rp. 26,346,428. Abstract

Cribs are one of the baby support products used after the baby is born. Parents as consumers expect products that are used more concise, in accordance with the residence and the price is more economical by not reducing the quality of products and still refers to the principle of ergonomics, so that the product is less competitive with existing products in the market therefore it is necessary to design ababy crib and ergonomic multifunction cabinets by using the productrecycle drum. The purpose of this design is expected to answer and be a solution to the wishes of consumers, especially parents who have a baby by presenting new innovations. The design uses anthropometry theory to produce a convenient product used by the user. Anthropometric data collection is done directly with the required body dimensions are height upright, shoulder width and hand reach. Stages of data processing ie test data adequacy, test data uniformity and percentile calculations. Abstract

The problem in this research is using the control chart diagram - R whether the 2018 kernel product defects at PT. Inti Indosawit Subur is still under control ?, by using a causal diagram what factors cause the failure of kernel products at PT. Inti Indosawit Subur?. The purpose of this final project is to determine the defect rate of kernel products at PT. Inti Indosawit Subur is still under control or not through the control chart - R and to find out what factors cause the failure of kernel products at PT. Inti Indosawit Subur through a causal diagramThe data collection methods used in the writing of this study were field research (interviews and documentation) and literature study. The data analysis method used is the control chart - R to see abnormalities or deviations in the kernel quality data and cause and effect diagrams to analyze what are the causes of product defects.Based on the results of research and data processing, it is known that of the three quality standards of kernel products, two of them are out of control, namely dirt and shell (dirt content) and broken kernel (broken kernel). Therefore, the authors provide suggestions for the company to improve the quality of kernel products.

Abstract

The problem in this research is how to forecast HDPE pipe supply orders at PDAM Tirta Mayang Jambi using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method ?. The purpose of this study was to determine the Forecasting of HDPE Pipe Supply Orders at PDAM Tirta Mayang Jambi using the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method. The research method used in this research is descriptive method. According to Nazir (2011), "The descriptive research method is a method of examining the status of a group of people, an object, a condition, a system of thinking, or a class of events in the present". The research objective is used to describe or explain accurately, systematically the facts in the phenomenon under study. Through this descriptive research, the researcher aims to obtain and describe how to apply the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) inventory method in addition to the inventory method applied by PDAM Tirta Mayang Jambi City. From the analysis carried out on the HDPE pipe supply control at PDAM Tirta Mayang, Jambi City, it can be seen: (1) To forecast the need for HDPE pipe for new connections using the linear regression method. So that the total estimated number of HDPE pipes needed during 2020 is 23766 meters of pipe for one year needs. (2) The EOQ method is used to determine the number of economic orders that a company must place at 3256 meters / Order. (3) For the total cost that must be incurred by the company using EOQ is Rp. 45,448,450, while using the conventional method the company has to pay a higher cost of Rp. 88,768,650. so that it can be seen that there is a very large difference between using the EOQ method and the conventional amounting to Rp. 43,320,200, -.

Abstract

Currently on the production floor of PT. WKS has equipment that is not used in the work area, the work area is not well organized, and discipline regarding hygiene is very lacking resulting in the work process running poorly. Based on these conditions, it can be assessed that awareness of maintaining a work area is very minimal. One of the activities that companies can do to make improvements in the work area is by applying the 5S method. The 5S method is a basic approach in regulating the work environment, which essentially tries to eliminate waste so that an effective work environment is created. Based on the results of the 5S method audit can be given an improvement proposal to create a safe and comfortable work area. Based on the results of research and discussion, the implementation of the 5S method in the PT Wirakarya Sakti District II Company in the warehouse section of the Fire Control Regu can be summarized as follows: Seiri (concise), the application at this stage has not been implemented properly, because there are still irregular classifications of goods and there are still items that are not in accordance with the place. Seiton (neat), the application at this stage has not been implemented properly, because the placement of goods that are still difficult and slow in taking and returning goods and at each item placement there is no line boundary. Seiso (resik), the application at this stage has not been implemented properly, because places that are rarely noticed by people are still dirty and the cleaning tools that are needed by PIC warehouses are incomplete. Seiketsu (care), the application at this stage has not been implemented properly, because there is no usage information on the items that if used requires expertise.
