Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA dan keaktifan siswa pada submateri pengukuran. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VII E SMP 5 Semarang sebanyak 32 siswa. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan tahapan prasiklus, siklus I, dan siklus II. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik observasi keaktifan, tes pada siklus I dan siklus II, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data dengan membandingkan hasil observasi hasil belajar IPA dan keaktifan siswa pada tahap prasiklus, siklus I, dan siklus II. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan hasil belajar IPA pada pre test siklus I (57,19) dan post test siklus I (68,44), pre test siklus II (75,31) dan post test siklus II (82,50). Ada peningkatan keaktifan siswa pada siklus I (71,43%), dan siklus II (76,67 %). Penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar IPA dan keaktifan siswa pada submateri pengukuran.The study aims to increase science learning outcomes and student activeness in submateri measurement. The research subjects were 32 students of class VII E SMP 5 Semarang. The research was conducted with pre-cycle cycle, cycle I and cycle II. Data collected by activeness observation, tests conducted in cycle I and cycle II, and documentation Data analysis techniques by comparing the results of activeness observations and learning outcomes in the pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II. The results showed that there was an increase in science learning outcomes in pre-test cycle I (50.94) and post test cycle I (68.44), pre test cycle II (73.09) and post test cycle II (82.19). There was an increase in student activiteness in cycle I (57.48%), and cycle II (65.67%).  The implementation of Problem Based Learning model can increace science learning outcomes and student activeness in submateri measurement. Keywords:

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the improvement of honest attitude and learning result of human excretion system material using the discovery learning model in class VIII H SMP 5 Semarang semester 2 of 2018/2019. This research is a classroom action research. These research subjects are all students of class VIII H SMP 5 Semarang consisting of 32 people. This research was conducted with pre-cycle, cycle I, and cycle II stages. Data collection techniques are carried out by means of documentation techniques in the initial conditions, observation techniques, and test techniques in the first cycle and second cycle. Data analysis techniques by comparing the variables of honest attitude and learning outcomes in the initial conditions with conditions in the first cycle and second cycle. The results showed that there was an increase in students' honesty in the pre-cycle stage (73.68%), the first cycle (82.81%), and the second cycle (88.28%). There was an increase in learning outcomes before the action (pre-cycle) (59%), cycle I (79.86%), and cycle II (87.06%). Improving students' honesty and learning outcomes becomes a consideration for teachers to use discovery learning models and becomes information material for schools to prepare media or learning materials for discovery learning models.
