Abstract

Every year, hypertension become the main cause of the death in the world and known as the silent killer. Untreated hypertension can cause various problems in the body especially the brain, heart and kidneys. Age, heredity, and lifestyle are factors that cause hypertension. The elderly is a group susceptible to hypertension due to physiological changes in blood vessels because of age related. Elderly people with hypertension often experience anxiety which can increase blood pressure. The purpose of this community service is to increase knowledge and lifestyle in doing sports and reduce anxiety in the elderly with hypertension in the Kuwus district of West Manggarai. The respondents of this study were 25 hipertensive elderly clients. The activity was carried out in 3 stages, namely 1) measuring blood pressure and anxiety levels 2) counseling about hypertension and anxiety 3) Education on deep breathing relaxation and 5 finger hypnosis techniques, and 4) Joint exercise. Based on the paired t-test result, it was identified the difference of knowledge (pvalue: 0.001) and attitude (pvalue: 0,005) between pre and post intervention. The results of the implementation show that after the knowledge activity has increased and the anxiety of the elderly has decreased. Relaxation and exercise techniques can be applied to the elderly in the future

Abstract

ABSTRACT Motivation is a psychological factor that shows interest in work, achievement, and responsibility for activities or work. A person's behavior is generally motivated by the desire to achieve certain goals. With motivation, an employee or employee will be able to have high enthusiasm in carrying out the tasks given. The purpose of this research is to determine the determinants of nurses' intrinsic motivation on nurse job satisfaction in the XYZ Regional General Hospital inpatient room. The research used is descriptive quantitative correlational research to determine the description of the variables of Intrinsic Motivation and Job Satisfaction. The research method used is cross-sectional research, which is a type of research that emphasizes the time of measurement or observation of variable data. The sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique with a sample size of 46 respondents. The research results showed that intrinsic motivation and job satisfaction with high recognition were 22 people (54.5%), intrinsic motivation and job satisfaction with organizational policies were 31 people (61.4%), intrinsic motivation and job satisfaction with interpersonal relationships were 23 people (60.9%), intrinsic motivation and job satisfaction with responsibility as many as 36 people (66.7%), intrinsic motivation and job satisfaction with work as many as 28 people (60.7%), intrinsic motivation and job satisfaction with Guarantee Jobs were 26 people (61.5%), intrinsic motivation and job satisfaction with supervision were 30 people (63.3%), intrinsic motivation and job satisfaction with working conditions were 30 people (63.3%). Hospitals need to increase nurse motivation so that nurse job satisfaction increases. Thus, it has an impact on better service quality. Keywords: Intrinsic Motivation, Job satisfaction, Nurses  ABSTRAK Motivasi adalah factor psikologis yang menunjukkan minat terhadap pekerjaan, prestasi, dan tanggung jawab terhadap aktivitas atau pekerjaan. Perilaku  seseorang pada umumnya di motivasi oleh keinginan untuk mencapai tujuan tertentu. Dengan adanya motivasi, seorang pegawai atau karyawan akan dapat memiliki semangat yang tinggi dalam melaksanakan tugas yang diberikan. Tujuan penelitian ini Untuk mengetahui Determinan Motivasi Instrinsik Perawat Terhadap Kepuasan Kerja Perawat Di Ruangan Inap Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah XYZ. penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif korelasional untuk mengetahui gambaran variable Motivasi Instrinsik dan Kepuasan Kerja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian cross-sectional, yaitu jenis penelitian yang menekankan pada waktu pengukuran atau pengamatan data variabel. Penentuan sampel dengan  mengunakan teknik purposive sampling dengan jumlah sampel 46 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukan motivasi instrinsik   dan kepuasan kerja dengan pengakuan yang tinggi sebanyak 22 orang (54,5%), motivasi instrinsik  dan kepuasan kerja dengan kebijakan organisasi sebanyak 31 orang (61,4%), motivasi instrinsik  dan kepuasan kerja dengan hubungan interpersonal sebanyak 23 orang (60,9%), motivasi instrinsik  dan kepuasan kerja dengan tanggung jawab sebanyak 36 orang (66,7%), motivasi instrinsik  dan kepuasan kerja dengan Pekerjaan sebanyak 28 orang (60,7%), motivasi instrinsik  dan kepuasan kerja dengan Jaminan Pekerjaan sebanyak 26 orang (61,5%), motivasi instrinsik  dan kepuasan kerja dengan Pengawasan sebanyak 30 orang (63,3%), motivasi instrinsik  dan kepuasan kerja dengan Kondisi Kerja sebanyak 30 orang (63,3%). Rumah sakit perlu meningkatkan lagi motivasi perawat agar kepuasan kerja perawat meningkat, dengan demikian akan berdampak pada kualitas pelayan yang lebih baik. Kata Kunci: Motivasi Instrinsik, Kepuasan Kerja, Perawat
