Abstract

The Way Apu Dam is located on Buru Island, Ambon. It has multiple functions, including Irrigation, Raw Water, Hydropower, and Flood Control. The Way Apu River is a fairly large river which flows through settlements in the Way Apu area in Buru Regency which empties to the southeast into the Seram Sea. In line with the pace of community development, especially those who live and carry out activities around the plains on the downstream of the river, the problems caused by flooding. In July 2021, the embankment of the building that circumvented the Way Apu Dam, which used the 25-year flood plan design, was broken or damaged. Construction on the field has made the cross-sectional design double the design results. So the purpose of this study is to determine the design discharge for a 25 year return period using the HSS, ITB 1, ITB 2 method. From the results of the analysis of the three methods, the one that approaches the planning discharge value is the ITB 1 method with a planning Q25 discharge of 627 m3/s, and the Q25 discharge during the construction period of 768 m3/sec has exceeded the Q25 planning discharge value of 627 m3/sec.

Abstract

Ciujung River is located in Serang Regency, Banten, where the river is on the right and left sides of the Merak Toll Road connecting Jakarta-Serang. The length of the Ciujung River on the right side is 6.27 Km and the left side is 6.83 Km. Extreme rainfall that occurred in the last two years resulted in inundation of surrounding settlements and the Jakarta-Merak Toll Road at Km 57-59. The toll road was flooded with a depth of 1 meter caused by the overflow of the Ciujung River, which caused severe congestion during the rainy season and economic losses for local residents. The worst flood ever occurred in 2013 where almost 1 month there was a disaster on the Merak Km 57-59 toll road due to flood water puddles that were almost 1 m deep. This flood actually occurred long before 2013, it can even be said to be an annual flood for local residents who live on the banks of the river. But because water enters the Merak Toll Road which is a means of trade transportation that has high economic value, it has only been noticed the cause of this flood. This study aims to find the cause of flooding why it occurs only at the location of the 57-59 Km Toll Road and the completion of the flood using various variables such as river dimensions, rainfall, watershed area, etc. and analyzed using the HSS Snyder and ITB1 flood hydrograph methods.

Abstract

Waduk Jatigede tujuan utamanya adalah : Irigasi di wilayah rentang seluas 90.000 Ha, Penyediaan air baku untuk daerah Kabupaten Cirebon dan Indramayu sebesar + 3.500 liter/detik, Pembangkit tenaga listrik dengan daya terpasang 110 MW pada PLTA Jatigede, dan Pengendalian banjir di wilayah Indramayu. Harus diingat bahwa Indonesia merupakan negara tropis dan memiliki curah hujan yang relatif besar. Namun, tidak merata, Pengaruh iklim di Indonesia ini menyebabkan adanya Bulan basah dan Bulan kering yang dimana sangat mempengaruhi Inflow Waduk Jatigede. maka akan dilakukan suatu simulasi dan optimasi dalam pola operasi Waduk Jatigede, yang dimana akan menggunakan metode Chance Constraint Non Linear Programming dan Linear Programming .Dari hasil persentase defisit jika pada musim kering defisit air kurang lebih setengah atau 50% di bulan kering, di bulan normal defisit sekitara 32 %., sedangkan untuk niai persentase rata-rata di bulan basah bisa mencapai 13%. Disarankan pengurangan luas DI atau golongan luas tanam ( penanaman tidak dilakukan secara serentak).
