Abstract

Desa Murung Kenanga merupakan sebuah desa yang terletak di antara dua Sungai Martapura. Desa ini mendapat perhatian khusus dari pemerintah kabupatennya karena terletak di kota Martapura dan berpotensi untuk menjaga kebersihan sungai. Semua kegiatan dari pemerintahan kabupaten ini bertujuan untuk menjadikan desa Murung Kenanga menjadi desa yang Aman, Indah, Ramah - Santun dan Tertata Rapi (AIR-SANTRI). Namun, keprihatinan terhadap kurangnya tingkat kepedulian masyarakat pada pentingnya kebersihan di lingkungan sekitar sungai bukan hanya di sungainya masih dapat dirasakan. Hal ini dapat dilihat dari kondisi lingkungan di Desa Murung Kenanga yang masih terdapat sampah yang berserakan. Permasalahan yang dialami saat ini di masyarakat Desa Murung Kenanga adalah kurangnya kesadaran warga untuk membuang sampah pada tempatnya dan tidak tersedianya tempat sampah di lingkungan tempat tinggal mengakibatkan sebagian masyarakat membuang sampah sembarangan, walaupun tidak langsung ke sungai. Solusi dari permasalahan ini dilakukan melalui kegiatan edukasi, baik menggunakan metode ceramah maupun dengan menggunakan media cetak leaflet dan sticker serta pengadaan tempat sampah pada lingkungan hunian warga. Edukasi tentang kebersihan lingkungan sungai yang dilakukan dapat menambah pengetahuan bagi warga desa Murung Kenanga Kab. Banjar dan juga menunjang sikap untuk menjaga kebersihan di lingkungan sungai. Keberadaan leaflet dan stiker yang terdapat pada tempat sampah dan di sekitar tempat tinggal warga desa, memberikan pengaruh terhadap kesadaran warga untuk membuang sampah pada tempatnya. Begitu juga dengan keberadaan tambahan tempat sampah di lingkunngan desa dapat menambah upaya dalam menjaga lingkungan di sekitar sungai bertambah bersih.

Abstract

The results of the situation analysis show that poor hygiene conditions and sanitation facilities that do not comply with health standards occur at SMAIT ANIC, Banjarbaru City, South Kalimantan. Based on the results of this analysis, the Community Partnership Program (PKM) seeks to solve this problem. The PKM program implemented as a solution is education about cleanliness, to increase the school community's knowledge and awareness of the importance of school cleanliness. School cleanliness plays a role in the implementation of education in schools. The method used in the activity is a lecture with questionnaires given before and after the activity as a means of evaluation. This activity also emphasizes active participation from all parties involved, including students and teachers, as well as school administration staff. The results of the activity showed an increase in students' understanding and awareness of the meaning of school cleanliness and sanitation. These results indicate that the objectives of this PKM program have been achieved. Increasing knowledge will certainly have an impact on environmental cleanliness and clean-living habits of students.

Abstract

Mangroves are plants that live on beaches and river mouths, where these areas experience ups and downs of sea water. Around 3 million hectares of mangrove forest grow along 95,000 kilometers of Indonesia's coast, which is 23% of the world's total mangrove ecosystem. Indonesia's mangrove ecosystems are located in Papua, Kalimantan and Sumatra. This study aims to measure the distribution and density of mangrove forests in Tanah Bumbu Regency, South Kalimantan using Landsat 8 imagery with the support vector machine (SVM) classification method. Meanwhile, the density value was determined using the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) method. The results show that the mangrove distribution area is 2448.84 ha, of which the widest mangrove distribution is in the Simpang Empat area with an area of 1702.62 ha. Based on these results, it shows that the mangrove forest area in Tanah Bumbu Regency still has a fairly dense mangrove area.

Abstract

Land use is a form of the influence of human activities on part of the physical surface of the earth. Land use will increase if the population increases. Activities carried out by humans can be in the form of building settlements, plantations and agriculture and cannot be separated from spatial problems because they are related to land use. Research aims to identify the land use and create distribution maps of land use in the district of Central Kalimantan province Lamandau using Landsat Satellite Imagery 8 OLI/TIRS. The land use classification uses the maximum likelihood classification method. The result of this research is a map of land use distribution in Lamandau Regency which has an area of approximately 486,738 ha. The results of this study obtained 7 classes of land use in Lamandau Regency, namely forests with an area of 182,383 ha, shrubs 118,263 ha, oil palm plantations 74,666 ha, mixed gardens 51,117 ha, settlements 28,742 ha, agriculture 28,087 ha and rivers 3,480 ha.
