Abstract

Employee performance is an important thing to advance a company, good performance is needed so that company goals can be achieved. Several factors that affect an employee's performance include quality of work life and organizational commitment. This study aims to analyze the effect of quality of work life on employee performance with organizational commitment as a mediating variable. Samples were taken as many as 58 employees and using saturated samples. Data collection in this study was carried out by interview and questionnaire methods. The data analysis technique used in this research is Path Analysis and Sobel Test. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the quality of work life has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, the quality of work life has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment, organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, organizational commitment is a mediating variable from the influence of quality of work life. on employee performance.

Abstract

Employee performance is the result of achieving employee work by established regulations. The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of job satisfaction in mediating the effect of quality of work-life on employee performance. The theoretical basis used in this research is the theory of social exchange. The number of samples used is 63 employees, using a non-probability sampling method with a saturated sampling technique. Data was collected through interviews and questionnaires. The analytical technique used is descriptive statistical analysis, classical assumption test, path analysis, Sobel test, and VAF test. The results showed that the quality of work-life had a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Quality of work-life has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Job satisfaction partially mediates the effect of quality of work-life on employee performance. The results of this study have implications for the development of human resource management science, especially for employees of the Karangasem Regency Social Service to pay more attention to the quality of work-life and employee job satisfaction, to improve employee performance.

Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyze the effect of job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and job insecurity on organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) conducted at the Office of Public Works and Spatial Planning, Jembrana Regency. This study was conducted using a saturated sampling technique of 45 people with the contract employee status. Data eliciting was done by interview method and distributing questionnaires. The data analysis technique that used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicated that job satisfaction has a significant positive effect on OCB, organizational commitment has a significant positive effect on OCB, while job insecurity has a significant negative effect on OCB. The results of this study provide evidence on the development of human resource management science and organizational behavior science, especially regarding OCB, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and job insecurity which are able to prove empirically the theory used in this study refers to the social exchange theory is a theory that assumes that the relationship between agencies and employees is a form of social exchange. This research can be used as a reference for all parties, both for students or universities in conducting research with similar variables and for agencies in improving OCB behavior.

Abstract

Peran perilaku ekstra atau organizational citizenship behavior merupakan hal yang penting untuk mendorong kemajuan dari sebuah organisasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran kepuasan kerja dalam memediasi pengaruh perceived organizational support terhadap organizational citizenship behavior. Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 46 orang pegawai non ASN Dinas Koperasi dan UKM Kabupaten Gianyar dan menggunakan sampel jenuh. Pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan metode wawancara serta kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis jalur (path analysis), uji sobel dan uji asumsi klasik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa POS berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap OCB, POS berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja, kepuasan kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap OCB, kepuasan kerja berperan positif dan signifikan dalam memediasi POS terhadap OCB. Hasil penelitian ini memberikan implikasi teori pertukaran sosial, khususnya pada pihak pimpinan untuk lebih memperhatikan kepuasan kerja pegawai dan POS agar dapat meningkatkan OCB.
