Abstract

Fazlur Rahman idea of renewal Islamic college is lead to improvement of the current Islamic education. The final conclusion of this paper is (1).the formulation of thought the concept of Islamic higher education to be developed must be built on a solid paradigm spiritually, superior intellectually, and graceful morally with the Qur'an as a first reference and foremost. (2) offer a curriculum that are open to the studies of philosophy and social-science. (3) If the Islamic college in Indonesia is willing to follow the educational Fazlur Rahman thinking, motivation Indonesian Muslims to the development of science will be stronger, the dichotomy of science will be increasingly eroded.AbstrakGagasan Fazlur Rahman tentang pembaharuan pendidkan tinggi Islam sangat berhubungan dengan peningkatan pendidikan Islam masa kini. Kesimpulan akhir dari makalah ini adalah (1) formulasi pemikiran tentang konsep pemikiran mengenai pendidikan tinggi Islam yang akan dikembangkan harus dibangun di atas paradigma spiritual yang solid, unggul secara intelektual, dan anggun secara moral sesuai dengan Al-Qur'an sebagai rujukan pertama dan terutama. (2) kurikulum yang terbuka untuk studi filsafat dan ilmu sosial. (3) Jika perguruan tinggi Islam di Indonesia bersedia mengikuti pemikiran pendidikan Fazlur Rahman, maka keinginan umat Islam Indonesia untuk pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan akan lebih kuat, dikotomi ilmu akan semakin terkikis.

Abstract

The acculturation of religion and culture from the perspective of Q.S. Al-A’raf [7]: 199, which begins to be forgotten these days, is an important element in the history of the Sumenep palace in Madura. The methods used in this research are qualitative, descriptive, literature, and field research methods. This research is intended to address 1) What are the cultural differences before and after the entry of Islam in the Sumenep Palace, 2) What are the changing elements in the lives of the Madurese people affected by the acculturation in the Sumenep Palace, 3) explore and find ethical solutions in responding to community attitudes toward Sumenep Palace by analyzing the interpretation of QS. Al-A’raf [7]: 199. The scientific contribution of this research is in the form of encourage- ment to the community so that they have noble values, hard-work spirit, moderate and open mind, fighting spirit, bravery, and patience in facing challenges like those experienced by the palace of Sumenep.

This Research Aims to Formulate the Concept of Social Education in The Living Verse Contained in the Qur'an. The Method of Study Used Is a Method of Thematic Interpretation To Assess The Concept of The Living Qur'an, As Well As A Method Of Sociology To Read Its Influence On The Reality of Social Life Of Society. Implementation of the Concept of Social Education in Verses About Living in the Qur'an Will Build a Spirit of Entrepreneurship, Work Ethic, Business Ethics, Responsibilities, Social Care and Victim Attitudes. IT Can Also Create Economic Growth, Revenue Distribution, Public Services, Jobs, Eliminate Poverty, Slavery, Consumptive Behavior, and Protect the Public from The Economic Crisis.
