Abstract

This study aims to analyze articles with the subject matter of Islamic Banking published during the 2020-2021 period in times of the Covid-19 Pandemic and indexed by Scopus (https://scopus.com) on an analysis of articles, authors, journals, and keywords. The papers analyzed were as many as 681 documents using bibliometric analysis with the help of R Biblioshiny software. The numbers showed the researcher's high desire to research with the theme of Islamic Banking during the pandemic. The author who often studies this theme is Hassan MK. Most journals published on Islamic Banking during covid-19 are "Journal of Islamic Marketing" and "Journal of Islamic Accounting and Business Research." Several themes related to Islamic Banking research, namely corporate social responsibility, profitability, efficiency, financial crisis, and Islamic finance. However, the trend analysis shows that few researchers have linked Islamic Banking research to these themes. Therefore, a study with these themes needs development considering the limited research that extensively addresses the Islamic Banking theme in Islamic economics and finance research.

Abstract

This scientometric research looks at the current situation of various studies on Islamic fiscal policy published in journals that have digital-object identifiers (DOI). This research focuses on the features and trends of keywords, authors, and journals. We use research articles (metadata) from Dimension (https://dimension.ai). The research dataset was found using a search that was last updated on May 31, 2022. A descriptive statistical approach was used to determine the bibliometric map, and bibliometric analysis was performed using R Biblioshiny. In recent years, there has been a substantial increase in the number of studies addressing the topic of Islamic fiscal policy. Many publications publish on this topic, the most prominent of which is the United Nations Treaty Series journal, which features multiple authors exploring the topic using a variety of keywords. Chouwdhury MA, Kuran T, and Mirakhor A are the most prolific authors. The keywords most frequently used are 'Economic, waqf, and public.' This review provides an overview of research trends, keywords, journals, and authors in the most popular papers on Islamic fiscal policy, as well as providing information for academics specializing in this field.

Abstract

Social media contents on Islamic financial planning are spreading out massively. However, the study on how it impacts the awareness of Muslims society in financial planning is still rarely found. The aim of this study is to examine the impact of Islamic financial planning social media content towards the awareness of financial planning among generation Z Muslims. In addition, personal background variable is also included in the analysis. One hundred sixty-five generation Z Muslims became the participants of this research. They filled the questionnaire regarding their perspectives on social media content’s impact on their knowledge of personal financial planning. This study hypothesized that social media content and personal background both affecting generation Z Muslims on their understanding about Islamic financial planning. By using multi linear regression analysis, the study revealed that the result is quite favorable. The study shows that 68% of Instagram social media content have affected the awareness of Islamic financial planning among generation Z Muslims, while the 22% came from personal background. Future research in the area is needed for a more complete understanding on how social media content affects the behavior of young Muslims in terms of financial planning for a better Islamic financial inclusion.
