<![CDATA[Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk (1) mengetahui dan menganalisis Pelaksanaan Peran Penyidik Satuan Res Narkoba Polres Gowa Dalam Menyelesaikan Tindak Pidana Narkoba Di Wilayah Hukum Kepolisian Resort Gowa; (2) mengetahui dan menganalisis hambatan Penyidik Polres Gowa Dalam Penanganan Tindak Pidana Narkoba. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini menggunakan tipe penelitian empiris. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara Data analisis Menggunakan Metode Analisis Deskriptif Dengan Menggunakan Teori efektivitas hukum sebagai Pisau Analisis Penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Peran kepolisian dalam penegakan hukum terhadap tindak pidana narkotika di Kabupaten Gowa dilakukan berdasarkan ketentuan perundang-undangan, untuk memberantas penyakit masyarakat yaitu masalah narkotika. (2) Hambatan yang ditemui penyidik dalam melakukan penanganan tidak pidana narkotika di Wilayah Kepolisian Resort Gowa yakni, Tidak adanya sarana dan prasarana, Rendahnya kesadaran hukum masyarakat di kabupaten gowa, Rendahnya Kualitas beberapa anggota polisi, Ketakutan masyarakat melaporkan penyalahgunaan narkotika sehingga minim informasi. This research aims to (1) understand and analyze the Implementation of the Investigator's Role in the Narcotics Unit of the Gowa District Police in Resolving Narcotics Crimes in the Jurisdiction of the Gowa District Police; (2) identify and analyze the obstacles faced by the Gowa District Police Investigators in Handling Narcotics Crimes. The research method employed in this study is empirical research. Data collection was carried out through interviews, and the data analysis used the Descriptive Analysis Method by employing the Law Effectiveness Theory as the Research Analysis Tool. The results of this study indicate that: (1) The role of the police in law enforcement against narcotics crimes in the Gowa Regency is carried out based on legal provisions to eradicate social problems, namely drug issues. (2) The obstacles faced by investigators in handling narcotics crimes in the Gowa District Police jurisdiction include the lack of facilities and infrastructure, low legal awareness among the community in Gowa Regency, low quality of some police officers, and the community's fear of reporting drug abuse, resulting in minimal information.]]>
