Abstract

Abstract Jatinegara Kaum Village is one of the villages in Pulogadung District which is currently the target area of Jakarta State University, the strong historical value makes this area potential to be developed into urban educational tourism in the segmentation of religion, agriculture, fisheries, waste management and micro- enterprises. One of the institutions that is very concerned in supporting the program is the Jayakarta Community Forest Farmers Group (KTH). This KTH is a working group formed by the younger generation of RW 03, Jatinegara Kaum sub-district, Pulogadung District, East Jakarta. KTH has 4 main activities, namely (1) agriculture, (2) fisheries, (3) waste processing and (4) micro-enterprises. In the field of hydroponic agriculture, KTH produces low income generation, this is due to low productivity due to the absence of a pH control system and automatic nutrition in hydroponic plants that can keep the tilapia maintained 24 hours. The program that will be carried out is training and grants for the PH Control System and Solar Cell-Based Hydroponic Plant Nutrient Level Unit for Members of KTH Rumah Kaum Jayakarta. The service activity succeeded in increasing participants' understanding of the PH Control System and the Level of Hydroponic Plant Nutrition Solutionsbased on Solar Cell, this was shown by the increase in the average pretest and posttest scores from 38 to 81 and the N-Gain percentage value of 70.1% which means training done quite effectively. Based on the feedback on the implementation of activities with an assessment of 1-5 showing the aspects of the material, methods, media and resource persons each got a score of 4.5; 4.4; 4.6 and 4.8 with a total average score of 4.6, it can be concluded that the implementation of the activities went very well. The resulting output is an increase in the competence of members of the Jayakarta House of Kaum KTH as evidenced by partner certificates, documentation in online media, YouTube, scientific journal publications and cooperation names placed in the target villages.

Abstract

Biodiversity in the environment around communities and schools is an important resource asset for human life as well as in school learning activities. One of the biodiversity that exists in the environment around the human area, namely animals belonging to the category of amphibians and reptiles (herpetofauna groups). The population of herpetofauna animals in Indonesia tends to decline continuously, due to various factors such as habitat loss and other pressures or disturbances. The existence of herpetofauna in agricultural, plantation and residential areas actually has a very strategic role in the balance of nature. Conservation of herpetofauna animals must be introduced to the community, especially the next generation around the area. One of the community groups (the younger generation) that has great potential in herpetofauna conservation activities, namely elementary school students (SD). Conservation education for the next generation (SD students) can be well implemented through good learning methods and media by their teachers. The use of herpetofauna media in teaching science, environment or local content is still minimal. Knowledge of hepetofauna conservation for teachers is still relatively low. The utilization and availability of science or environmental learning media at the elementary school level is still relatively lacking.

Abstract

The need for active and innovative learning models in the 21st century encourages teachers to use appropriate learning models to achieve learning objectives. PjBL is a learning model that organizes classes in a project. The purpose of this study was to re-analyze research on project-based learning models (PjBL) in biology learning. This study uses the method of meta-analysis by reviewing a number of research results related to the research theme. The samples taken from this study were 10 articles with national and international standards. Based on the results of the analysis, the overall average effect size is 0.936. This shows that overall the project-based learning model has a high effect, so that it can be used as an alternative learning model that is effectively applied in biology learning.

Abstract

Diagnostic tests are strategies used in differentiated learning to adjust the course of learning based on students' existing learning needs. There are several types of diagnostic tests, including the three-tier diagnostic test. Explaining a three-tier diagnostic test instrument that is suitable for use in studying differentiated excretory systems is the aim of this research. The research method is research & development with 4D as a development model. 33 students of class The instrument developed consisted of 20 questions which were then tested for content and empirical validity. Based on the results of validity testing, an average of 92% was obtained, which shows that the instrument is very valid. Empirical validity testing obtained 13 valid questions and 7 invalid questions. In addition, a value of 0.732 was obtained from the reliability testing results, which shows that the instrument developed is reliable. Based on the results of testing the level of difficulty of the questions, it was found that there were 3 easy questions, 10 medium ones, and 7 difficult ones, and from the results of testing the differentiating power of the questions it was found that the questions were not good because they had a negative value of 1, bad had 3, fair and good each had 7, respectively. and very well collected 2. Based on content and empirical validity testing, the results showed that only 13 questions could be used in the differentiated excretion learning system, while the other 7 questions could not be used.
