Abstract

Permasalahan pejabat pemerintah, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan seringkali diberitakan media online sebagai ajang pertarungan argumentasi yang disajikan dengan bingkai tertentu. Studi ini berupaya menggali pembingkaian berita kepemilikan saham Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan di Papua. Berita dua media online, Kompas.com dan Republika.co.id dikumpulkan terhitung September 2021 hingga Januari 2022 untuk dianalisa dengan analsisis framing model Robert Entman. Tujuaannya untuk menganalisis pembingkaian Kompas.com dan Republika.co.id pada pemberitaan kasus kepemilikan saham Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan di Blok Wabu papua. Hasil penelitian ini menemukan bahwa Kompas.com menggambarkan secara netral kedua belah pihak menyatakan argumentasi masing-masing terkait tuduhan pada kanal Youtube Haris. Sedangkan Republika.co.id menggambarkan bahwa Luhut sebagai korban atas pencemaran nama baik dan mengungkapkan kekecewaanya terhadap perilaku Haris Azhar dan Fatia Maulidiyanti.Kata Kunci: Analisis framing, Luhut Binsar Pandjaitan, kepemilikan saham, portal berita online

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana representasi dominasi istri dalam keluarga yang disajikan melalui media sosial khususnya instagram. Hal ini didasarkan pada masih banyaknya stereotype mengenai gender khususnya antara laki-laki dan perempuan hingga mengarah pada wilayah suami-isti. Bagaimana peran yang dibebankan khususnya bagi istri sering dikonstruksikan ke arah ketidakadilan gender oleh masyarakat. Penelitian ini berfokus pada postingan akun Instagram @cerminlelaki sebagai tempat untuk para lelaki menyampaikan keluh kesah yang disebut dengan aktivitas curhat. Peneliti menggunakan dua postingan pada periode bulan Februari 2021 yang disesuaikan dengan topik penelitian. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan model analisis Semiotika Roland Barthes. Analisis Roland Barthes terdiri atas tanda dan penanda yang dimaknai secara denotatif, konotatif, serta mitos atau operasi ideologi. Dari analisis Roland Barthes tersebut ditemukan bagaimana istri direpresentasikan dan dieksploitasi sebagai bentuk pengukuhan ideologi patriarki dengan cara mengkonstruksi dominasi yang erat kaitannya dengan wacana gender istri sebagai sosok perempuan, istri dalam teks disajikan sebagai dominasi yang bersifat semu dan hanya untuk pengantar dalam melanggengkan kekuasaan suami sesungguhnya melalui penyudutan kepada istri yang dianggap tidak sesuai dengan struktur budaya masyarakat. Produksi teks curhatan sebagai sebuah wadah penyampaian keluh kesah suami memiliki makna untuk mengarahkan keberpihakan masyarakat atas golongan suami dan berujung memperkuat posisi suami sebagai simbol laki-laki untuk memproduksi wacana ideologi patriarki melalui teks curhatan.

Abstract

This study focused on the multiculturalism representation of child characters in the movie “Cuties” (2020), directed by Maimouna Doucoure. The research was interesting as it represented the child characters into multiculturalism issues which became the central problem in “Cuties”. The data was obtained in the form of movie scenes that presented the structure of multiculturalism issues. These issues were shown both visually and narratively. The study was a descriptive qualitative study using a semiotic analysis method that referred to the John Fiske model, which consisted of reality level, representation level, and ideology level. The symbols in the movie scenes represented the multiculturalism in “Cuties”. This multiculturalism could convey the diversity and differences in French society. The result of study indicated that multiculturalism was shown by the process of accepting a new culture, which was represented through attitude, behavior, narration, and other aspects in the movie through the characterization of Amy as the child character. Besides, the existence of this multiculturalism process could construct the identity formation in anyone without exception to a child.

Abstract

The news of the viral pornographic video case involving Gisella Anastasia in the detik.com news portal received high attention from the public. The comments column on news portals is filled with various kinds of public opinion. The researcher chose 2 corpus of news from detik.com news portal on the day of the incident. The data obtained were then analyzed using the Sara Mills discourse analysis method. From the discussion, the researcher sees that Gisella Anastasia as a woman and a public figure is shown as a negative character in this case. In addition, Gisel is also positioned as an object in several sentences in the 2 selected news corpus. The researcher sees that the patriarchal discourse in Indonesia still positions women and public figures as figures who have high news value, and are vulnerable to being positioned unequally. The discourse of patriarchal ideology is still visible in several narratives and readings of the production and consumption of public discourse on news portals in particular and public discourse in general.

Abstract

Marketing communication is all forms of activity to disseminate information and persuade consumers or customers directly or indirectly about an item and brand. SHOPEE made an innovation by launching the latest feature, namely the online loan feature in its application. In this study, the author will continue to examine all millennial generations, both the early and late millennial generations. The type of research used is quantitative. The city of Surabaya was chosen as the research location because the city of Surabaya is the center of the capital and economy in East Java Province. The analysis technique used is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis techniques to determine the effect of brand personality on purchase intention. The sample in this study was 100 millennial generation respondents from 5 regions in Surabaya. The analysis used was SPSS. Based on the results of research and discussion that Brand Personality has a significant effect on intention to use.
