Abstract

The problem of unemployment is one of the main and vital problems for all countries in the world. Indonesia is one of the developing countries that has a problem in the form of open unemployment. Open unemployment is unemployment caused by an increase in job vacancies that is lower than the addition of the existing workforce. The reason, more and more people are not getting a job.This research aims totest Economic Growth Economic Growth, Labor Force Participation Rate, Provincial Minimum Wage and Human Development Index of Unemployment Rates in districts or cities in East Java Province in studied. This research uses the Panel Regression model with a period of 5 years between 2017-2021.This research examines 38 provinces, consist of 29 kabupaten dan 9 kota in Jawa Timur. This research shows that the Economic Growth and Labor Force Participation Rate have a significant negative impact on Unemployment Rate in Jawa Timur years 2017-2021. However, the Rovincial Minimum Wage and Human Development Index variable has an significant positve impact on Unemployment Rate in Jawa Timur years 2017-2021.

Abstract

Economic growth is one of the goals that every country strives for because it is a measurement of a country's success. Gender equality and gender empowerment are important goals for Indonesia's development and economic growth. The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of women’s role on the indicators of the gender development index, gender empowerment index, women's life expectancy, mean years of schooling for women, and women's income contribution to gross regional domestic product (GRDP), which is a proxy for Indonesian economic growth. This quantitative study uses a panel data regression model, secondary data from Statistics Indonesia, time series data from 2014 to 2021 and cross-section data for 34 provinces in Indonesia. The study's findings yielded 272 observations. Empirical results show that all indicators used to measure women's role, namely gender development index, gender empowerment index, women's life expectancy, mean years of schooling for women, and women's income contribution, have a positive and significant effect on Indonesia’s economic growth. The findings of the study show the Indonesian government's dedication to increasing women's role in various economic sectors in Indonesia. The influence of women's roles indicates additional household income and economic growth.

Abstract

Taxes are the most important way a country pays for government services. Multinational business organizations emerged as a result of the expansion of international economic activity. . This study aims to analyze the effect of company size, leverage, foreign ownership and profitability on transfer pricing in oil, gas & coal sector companies listed on the Indonesian stock exchange (bei). This type of research is quantitative, this research is using documentation method to collect data by recording and storing data from various existing sources. Based on the results of generalized linear model analysis, it shows that company size, leverage and profitability have a significant negative effect on transfer pricing. Based on the result of generalized linear model analysis, it shows that foreign ownership has insignificant influence on transfer pricing.
