Abstract

Abstract

This research is motivated by the high number of cases of children in conflict with the law (ABH) and the need to develop an assessment model for ABH. Assessment is the first step for social work professional help, prior to intervention and intervention plans. The ultimate goal of this research is to produce a new model in the implementation of social work assessment for ABH. The model development was carried out by modifying the Biopsychosocial spiritual model assessment (BPSS) with the Business Model Canvas. The model offered is expected to provide benefits and convenience for Pekerja Sosial ABH who handle ABH in conducting assessments of perpetrators, victims, and witnesses who are still children. The aims of this study were: (1) to design the initial assessment model for ABH, (2) to test the ABH Canvas Model Assessment, (3) to make the final model of the Canvas Model Assessment for ABH. This type of research is development research with 10 steps of development research according to Borg and Gall (2007). The model trial was carried out three times, namely trial I (Pekerja Sosial ABH Malang Raya) with an average value of instrument validation of 82.5 (Appropriate). Trial II (Pekerja Sosial ABH East Java) with an average value of instrument validation 84.25 (Appropriate). Trial III (Pekerja Sosial ABH outside East Java Province) with an average validation value of 87.25 (Appropriate). In conclusion, the assessment canvas model for ABH is feasible to be applied as a tool for conducting assessments and preparing social reports for ABH. The advantage of this model is that it adds an educational aspect to the BPSS assessment component and can be used for quick assessments. The weakness of this model is that it is only used for ABH, not for the characteristics of other pediatric clients

Abstract

Socio-economic change is a behavioral adaptation based on influence, assistance and internalization of people who accept new attitudes and have the same values as before to move from certain conditions to other conditions. This shows that socio-economic change is one of the processes of change experienced by humans based on what has been learned and is largely determined by the conditions and needs of each individual. Therefore, the socio-economic changes that occur affect the socio-economic factors of coastal communities due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This phenomenon encourages us to be able to find out about the socio-economic changes that have occurred in the coastal communities of Payangan Beach, Watu Ulo Hamlet, Sumberejo Village, to improve their welfare for the better during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study is a descriptive qualitative research, data obtained from semi-structured interviews, non-participatory observation, and documentation. Determination of informants and locations using snowball sampling technique. Then analyzed systematically through the stages of data collection, data reduction, data presentation, as well as drawing conclusions and verification. Researchers used the source triangulation technique. The results of this study indicate that socio-economic changes in coastal communities have decreased income, hampered the work of coastal communities, and changes in the education of school children in Payangan, Jember Regency during the Covid-19 pandemic. Keywords: Socioeconomic Change, Coastal Communities, Covid-19Socio-economic change is a behavioral adaptation based on influence, assistance and internalization of people who accept new attitudes and have the same values as before to move from certain conditions to other conditions. Abstract

The 'Grandmother School' community is a place for the elderly to get education and actualize it. Elderly people are one of the most vulnerable groups in society and tend to experience discrimination, stereotypes, and social exclusion due to their aging condition. The presence of this community has an impact on increasing the capacity of elderly members of the community. Opportunities to actualize and re-learn that are accommodated by the community enable them to fight against various social constructions that undermine their potential. The research method used is qualitative research. Data collection is done through observation, interviews, and documentation. After the data is collected, it is presented descriptively and analyzed based on the data analysis method described by Miles, Huberman, and Saldana (2014) to draw conclusions. The purpose of this study was to identify and describe the capacity building of the elderly through the 'Grandmother School' community in Sumberlesung Village, Ledokombo District, Jember Regency. Abstract

Desa Ngadas in Malang Regency is an area with promising potential as a tourist destination. It has been recognized as a traditional tourism village that is able to attract both domestic and foreign tourists. In the development of its tourism sector, the aspect of human resources is crucial to be discussed. This paper aims to analyze the quality of human resources in Desa Ngadas through several aspects, namely health, education, socio-culture, economy, and community empowerment. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, involving 10 informants selected through purposive sampling technique. The results of this study depict the population's socio-cultural influence of the Tengger culture, which is closely tied to the traditions of the Tengger tribe. In terms of human quality, including nutrition and food, health, education, income, empowerment, independence, social environment, and economy, all depict the distinctive Tengger characteristics, with the majority working as farmers as the main alternative occupation, providing relatively high income for those who own agricultural land, while their social education is relatively low. The factors influencing the improvement of the capacity and quality of human resources are more dominant due to relatively low education and traditional mindsets. Keywords: human resources; tourism villages; village community
